My question comes down to, is it really desirable to omit rules from Server Rules page?
No, it is not. But you should know, none of us has the ability to post rule changes in that section. The individual who does can read this post and add as needed.
Keep the suggestions coming...

Good thinking Catpain. Nobody takes the time to read the rules anyways. Like driving, if everyone paid attention, the coppers wouldn't be writing traffic tickets...

What has happened last 7 days is the biggest event in the bf1942 community since the GS shutdown. As usual almost nobody mentions it, while there are tonnes of talk about the usual petty stuff.
No idea what/when/where/why anything about a server named AX. Never played it, never heard of it....been playing since the game was $49.95 US.

Assuming you right clicked all the icons and said "run as administrator" and compatibility windows xp service pack 3.
did you install all of the patches in the correct order? if you miss one, it messes up the game.
i would just do a system restore to couple days ago..that should do it..?

At the bottom of each post is a tab titled, Report. Click on that tab and it brings up a new window
that asks for a reason why the post is being reported.

This is kind of getting away from the ban appeals topic, but we may need some clarification in the Server Rules about this. If one interprets them literally, they seem to forbid returning fire at snipers in the main. Is that really what was intended?
nope..you fire out of main base, you are fair game for return fire. In this instance, Flick was not firing out of base and
got killed. That's a problem when shooting a tank or anything else in a base, if you kill random players next to the (tank), those random kills will subject the player to a kick.

on battleaxe when one side has all the flags and the other side is sniping from the base, I check the players and make sure they are snipers before I snipe them back.....been working so far...

easiest method might be to reinstall bf from cds....im guessing you have a freebie Origin installation which maybe causing its own set of problems...

Those of you in US probably are familiar with this giant membership warehouse. Just got an email that Costco now provides dental insurance (they don't do the work, just sell the insurance) with a major dental HMO. Plan rates based on zip, don't know if it is outside of California. In my zip, one person about $85 year; family of 5 about $210 year. Not providing a link, just google it.. Oh...I'm also not selling insurance or supporting Costco, just passing along info...
