fictional militaries? for example, what if someone called themselves a private first class, wore an outdated american combat uniform, specified they weren't ever in the us military, and wore a helmet tab with three dots in horizontal series, clearly not american? (not my specific situation, but i'm curious)
would this have any particular risk to it? i remember the counselor at the college advised against it - a parent is really trying to push me to take one, however, and i feel like getting an aggregate opinion of the matter, to get a better view of the differences of intersession and regular classes.
16-year old Deepak reportedly claims to be able of withstanding electrical shocks of no less than 11,000 volts
not to detract from your post - but i, as well, can withstand 11,000 volts, if the amperage is low enough
countries: ukraine/bulgaria
travel attractions: grass; villages; condemned soviet structures (no demolition plans, they're just dangerous to be near;) mafia neighborhoods; cheap condemned/deserted properties
problems: war, corruption, crime, hatred (ethnic, gender-based, religious, cultural, etc,) poverty, just dump most dictionary examples for "problem" here
living conditions: some of my ukranian family lives in converted schoolhouses, and some live in condos; likewise, my bulgarian relatives vary between living in the hills and living in apartments where the flooring has hills. in the end, their quality of life depends on how much of their immediate family is in the police or lives abroad
common hobbies: stealing items from the flea market and then selling them at the flea market, trying to strike a balance between having a reliable guard dog and all of their toes
capt price - what mod is in your profile pic?
you wanna see real issues, this bullshit site still exists.
i have noticed that most anti-islamic sentiment comes from the individuals who never encounter any muslims, and get hopped up on biased, partisan news sources spouting obscene, apocalyptic stories with no intent to wonder whether these are true or not... the rest of that sentiment comes from misanthropic veterans
i believe that simple and the other, large hosts will and should maintain a bunch of vanilla servers - however, i can completely imagine seeing this in eve of destruction, project reality: 42, battlegroup 42, modern desert combat submods, etc - it would certainly aid their gameplay, i imagine even coop would be improved.
yes, leave the vanilla game alone, and make sure it's strongly segregated from mods - to those people who have mods in the making, this is something that would better the game exponentially.
maybe this would have been better in off topic - simply, i want to bring this up so modders have it in mind; it would be great to see it more if other people took a similar liking to it.
it's a shame only one mod uses it, so i would like to bring this excellent idea to attention - this almost defeats the idea of the suicide seat! in fhsw, pressing the "s" key in machine gunner seats allows one to crouch behind the machine gun - one cannot fire, the barrel sticks up in the air and your position is given away by it, but they can't hit you easily anymore; judging by the implementations, i'm guessing it might be a modification of a game template. but - does anyone else wish to see this in more mods? not to be commanding or demanding, it is simply a great feature.
i've seen threads where the siege mod's team members had posted, on bfmods and the like, after 0.32; did they keep the final version unreleased?
i can't add specific information, but isn't there a multiplier based on the angle of impact?
fhsw has been updated to 0.6: http://www.moddb.com/mods/forgotten-hop … /downloads
i noticed there is an anti-camp rule for tanks - why is it so? i only know to use them to provide direct fire support and to engage other tanks in an advantageous manner, and i got kind of confused when my team started shooting me
my own username is simply my full name, with the first name in shorthand, which i would formerly employ on any website - but what about yours? is yours a function of an exotic shape, a movie, your name backwards, a tank and your birthday? tell me! tell us!!!
read the swaffy source to figure out how he did his cameras - the scope dirt seems like a modification of the scope graphic to simply appear less clean.
for the interior views, i think you actually place the camera someways inside the model and just give that camera something to see in there - i know that eve of destruction does this, and so you can investigate that code.
remember - battlefield 1942 mods are really open-source, i have yet to hear of code obfuscation for the con format and i doubt anyone would want to develop it, let alone use it, so if you see cool effects, just reverse-engineer them or even just directly use their method and adapt it to your purposes, they'll be happy they could help!
with the scope graphic - remember that people are gonna be using that scope, ensure that the scope is... usable!
my bfv registry was seemingly very screwed up (wasn't able to switch mods without mounting, and when i finally opened the registry, many expected folders were missing, with their values seemingly... strewn around, to say the least) - so i finally decided to find and install the 1.0 edition, update it to 1.1, install the ww2 mod for this version, and then move the mod folder back to my regular version of bfv. uploading it somewhere now, hopefully i'll be able to aid a similarly-troubled individual sometime
ya guys know bfv? i didn't until very recently - at some point, i tried getting that ww2 mod, but it requires v1.1 of bfv for installation; i don't have access to it, it's a dinosaur to me...
the gist of the issue - the mod installer seemingly checks your game version against the required 1.1 before installing, and mine is a later one (1.21,) so it refuses to work - tells me i don't have bfv installed!
anyone know a workaround w/ this likely anti-piracy measure? unsure how to downgrade at this point, or if it's possible - unsure how to spoof installer, since i don't know how it checks the game

There is a map mod part but maybe its not open to public? http://team-simple.org/forum/viewforum.php?id=30
About bc '42 it use openGL, dunno what gear you use but intel dropped there support for openGL in there Graphic drivers some years ago. At that time most laptops had intel Graphic so those modding with laptops was pretty screwed. I dont know how it is nowadays if they support openGL or not.
Are you a modder and if so have been modding for a long time? Any special project?
it seems to be private; intel is definitely my problem, this machine was acquired under unique circumstances.
i've modded, coded, mapped, textured, sprited (i hate pixel art but drawing is great,) modeled, created some audio, etc, have never finished or released anything, because i lost interest in all projects (i do not regret cancelling any of them, in part due to the engines i had made the mistake of trying, despite many, many forewarnings...)
my big problem is finding resources to teach me to use tools and such
Because nobody cares 14 years later for this game
majority of this thread would say otherwise

but what makes a rocket-propelled grenade different from the projectile that the m72 (law) fires? if wikipedia is to be believed, (as if,) rpg is just the russian name - is this so?
are they the same thing? i have yet to understand the meaning of grenade outside the context of hand grenades, very little literature covers this topic. is it simply another word for "bomb", the way, maybe, the british could refer to these as "bombs with rocket motors" (i think they called the warhead on the piat a bomb?)
is the equipment in these two activities ever interchangeable? i'm hoping to eventually own something for both, but locally, i have only ever found laser cutters on sale. i've checked these retailers' websites, and their store stocks, for both.

It's the best to make a backup from any Mod-Folder before copying other maps to it, such which change original maps, like some Berlin- or Caen-Custom Maps. Otherwise you can have problems to connect to some servers.
But all of those maps i linked are not changing the original files.

this (german?) site has loads of all sorts of stuff
thank you, they were exactly what i wanted to find; apparently, movement keys are not supposed to have alternates, as adding extra lines to add alternate functions overwrites the primary key.
does anyone know which file this is? i want to attempt to manually add alternate keys for certain controls (oddly, the interface cannot save them.)
press the add server button, enter the ip (i think the port stays the same, but check,) and either add or join (generally, try adding, and if it fails, just join, that's far more reliable.)
also, favorite the server, i think that keeps it on the list!
