username etymology

my own username is simply my full name, with the first name in shorthand, which i would formerly employ on any website - but what about yours? is yours a function of an exotic shape, a movie, your name backwards, a tank and your birthday? tell me! tell us!!! big_smile

Re: username etymology

My nickname means nothing but default player name in some games. I use ä to make this nickname unique. I'd like to know the etymology of name like Seventy, Hook, YourMother and the others.

Re: username etymology

There's a phrase like "you're a ray of sunshine" which just means someone is a happy person. It can also be used sarcastically and is the reason why my name is sunshine. Like if you're bitchy someone can say "aren't we a ray of fucking sunshine."

Nothing wrong with the "ä", but if i read your name, my brain interprets it to "shämeless" big_smile

Ok, if i be honest... i do not know why, but sometimes, when i red your name, my brain produces http://img.aws.livestrongcdn.com/ls-art … 405_XS.jpg and i get hungry.

Nothing special really, I was looking for a new nick and Windows 7 came to my mind, so I chose the nick seventy. Oh how boring... ;=)

And you, did you use the "ä" from the beginning or did you add it later, I can't remember now..?

Heh. Look at Finn pretending like he wasn't pretending to be shameless. Disconnects when questioned. Then I said "I bet Finn connects within a few moments." Aaannnnnddd... there he was. Pretending like Abas and I didn't know. You silly nilly.

Cohen from Raphaël Cohen, a great philosopher. My friends have become used to using Coco wich is also a colloquial and definitely unfashionable way of saying «guy» in french. So be it.

Re: username etymology

My name came from the 1982 movie Blade Runner
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blade_Runner
and the 1968 novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" by Phillip K. Dick.

I'm still looking for "replicants" in BattleField 1942
