Funny how when I asked you to stop you replied with "I don't care about teams" and "I just want the B17"

Despite the fact that you repeatedly asked to stop you thought you were above all that and that Piper would sort it out for you.  During Bocage you switched to Allied and caused the auto balance to kick in and start switching other players to Axis, what gives you the right to decide above anyone else which team you are on?  That was you first kick and I was hoping that would be that but no you decided that you would repeat it again and I think I ended up kicking you 4 times for the same thing, most normal players would take the first kick as a warning.

I don't feel silly because you broke a rule causing issues for others and I enforced that rule so yes good admin control, I am sorry if you feel picked upon but I would do the same for anyone else so please do not feel like a victim.

I think the server is going to struggle to handle 48 players, it shows as being 1.9Ghz and not the 3.4Ghz advertised do you have other services running on this box that are also using CPU power?
Seems that only 1.9Ghz is being allocated against your BF server.

I can confirm it does appear on the in game server list.

I have spoken to a couple of players who's custom profile was screwed over by this update and cause similar problems for some of them running the GamerSpy patch here fixed it:

Could be worth a try or its a back up of custom settings and a reinstall

Bos - thank you for the sanity injection and the posted information.

I have been running Wireshark on my server for some time now and already have data that can and will be passed to authorities should any issues such as this occur again, I am also sure that Tuia has all this in hand for Simple Servers so enough said about this I think.

Lets all just chill out here a moment and inject some common sense in here:

Icebags - You are a great player and without a doubt my nemesis when you are up flying and I am chasing you around the map with an AA gun but you do have an over enthusiastic attitude to the game and your fellow players to the point of being quiet rude and offensive.  It is very clear that you are passionate about the game but rather than abuse your fellow players why not try and help them and teach them the error of their ways in a helpful way, calling them a brainless fuckwit or whatever is never conducive to game play especially this kind of game.

By the time this thread has died your ban would have been long gone so really no need to start making threats against the server is there?  You may have skills that go beyond the basic playing of BF but please think about this for a moment, something I have based my life upon, "no matter how much you think you know there will always be someone who knows a little more so don't piss them off".  That little saying has caught me and held me back many times in my life and I am so pleased it has, think about what you are saying and the implications.

No your not alone I totally agree, it really is annoying when it keeps popping up.
My auto response is to simply hit 8 each time just to get rid of it.

It is very distracting to the action to have this window pop up when you don't want it and then to have a flurry of players spam the chat with "Type 7" "7" etc etc etc

I too along with Dakota and a few of my other gaming buddies played a couple of rounds on Simple FRA and remembered why I don't play there!
Both Snake and Major Mike were kicked for no clear reasons by admins on duty.  Snake was kicked for being AFK but he was not and I was talking with him on TS at the time, Major Mike was kicked we think so that another player could use the tank that he was already in!  This with the team switching by AJ(NL) proves to me that the admins here have no real control of the server.

Even with my ping of 15ms Simple FRA is still a crap server to play on back to US for me

It would appear then that the route of your problem is the VPN, is it important that you use VPN?
As Hook correctly points out the WS patch is available in the downloads section.

I do not think you can register on the forum while hiding your real IP address behind a VPN are you also trying to play from behind a VPN?

I am all for giving players second chances in the right place lets see if you can behave like a normal player, best of luck to you.  Oh and by the way you joined my server last night and did not spawn the entire time you were there and for someone who has been playing 12 years making a schoolboy error like that seems strange wouldn't you agree?

P.S. That snippet from 5 years ago was not from my server either.
