Yes, just haven't got around to it. Drawing icons like in BFV would be a lot of work, but it could be done with colors for now (red, blue, grey). Maybe also the control point names could be added.
Icons are not necessary, the distances alone would be fine.

What's your take on Canada's performance so far? I have only watched the highlights, so I can't really judge. Should get tough against Venezuela anyway from what I have seen.
I am hoping for a revenge vs Argentina now that we won against Venezuela. Canada’s performance is historic, our goalkeeper is a wall and we have great offensive talent. Our team is young though and lacks the experience of big tournaments. I’ll be happy if Canada scores once vs Argentina, regardless of the result. We’ll see.

Also yes, i did not make the patch everyone calls "reg patch". It was made by one of the BFSoldiers (known as Soldierr here and on dc)
Currently i'm working on the custom buddy colors, its almost done.

Great work uuzz and I appreciate your precious time on these fixes.
This is a completely random question but have you ever thought about trying to enable the dormant weather system code in bf1942? Apache Thunder was the first to do it with the cloud system. He has mentionned in some old post on BF Mods that the next easiest weather effect to have the potential to be enabled would be the lens flares system as a lot of the code is still there. Is there any possibility to bring it back along with other weather effects perhaps?

These are all excellent additions. Perhaps an exception could be made for the custom DLL in PB servers so that clients running the patch dont get kicked.
Colored buddies would be awesome and help a lot for wars.
In terms of accessibility, it would be nice if all these additions were bundled in a community patch (perhaps bf v1.613) and made available through a simple installer. There have been a lot of nice additions over the years.

Everyone is affected by this patch, including the better players. I don’t know why he would get more kills vs better players in that case.
