Gimme a moon base please love resonance thingys, have you seen the tesla story?
This small device also enabled Tesla to try out his experiments in resonance. Every substance has a resonant frequency which is demonstrated by the principle of sympathetic vibration the most obvious example is the wine glass shattered by an opera singer (or a tape recording for you couch potatoes.) If this frequency is matched and amplified, any material may be literally shaken to pieces.

If you were over 50, you'd probably know this already from experience....luckily...I didnt have to go there...
Ask a string instrument player, HOW to play "harmonics" on a string. The resonance (frequency) of the vibrations cross each other, and the sound is sweet. Some guitar players use harmonics beautifully. (Metheney) and Pastorius on bass and Jean Luc Ponty of violin kind of brought it to the forefront for the 4 stringers. The string is divided into thirds if my memory is right. Those "thirds" cross the harmonics.

There is still so much more to learn about sound. Especially in astronomy today!

The flatted fifth has been called the Devil's interval, and people were actually executed "back in the day" for writing songs that used this interval. The flatted fifth is the chromatic passing note between the four and the five in the scale - the so-called "blues note"

Hi Tookie, just to let you know, the eclipse images you posted are fakes, it's been so many years (~8 years) people get fooled by this image. It is actually a photomontage posted on deviantArt by a japanese artist. You can found more details about it here : http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badas … Z7WqyhJbIU
Same for the second "NASA image" you posted, photomontage by a deviantart artist from Philippines.
Nice shadows images you took ! I wish i could have witnessed this event !
