Praise to Brazilian authorities for uncovering the hoax and having the courage to detain those two american swimmers. Ryan Lochte had already left Brasil, surprisingly missing the Rio Olympic closing ceremonies, probably fearing he would get caught up there in his lies.

Glad one instance of brutality, theft and strong arming in Rio was a hoax. Everyone should take their family there on vacation...it's safe. Kind of a chicken shit thing to do and act like that representing your country. He should serve 3 days for a fake police report.

Lochte guy is all over local news like every damn minute since he lived here and used to go to the same school that I do. It's kind of interesting to see what they all have to say about the situation. Most say what he did his an embarrassment, but some defend him saying something like "well, we don't know all the facts." Which I guess is technically true. He gave an "apology" and apologized for how he described what happened, but still said he had a gun pointed to his head. So... who knows with that guy. First thing he should do his dye his retarded hair.

obviously those swimmers dont drink too often, i bet they had thought it was perfect deception, they even didnt realize that dressing police uniform is considered as lawlessness in some countries which cant stay unpunished by unwritten rules, this would breake the realations between the police and the underworld and should cused a big raid of mad policemen-punishers and i bet some "innosent" thieves were suffered greatly while the "investigation", some even had to got missed well who cares- not me
