Rules

So do we follow these or not?  I wasn't going to say anything but the butt hurt individual then went on to make a production of this and accuse me of violating the rules.  I've been playing here a while and while I may push it I don't break them.  Bailed from my damaged BF109 with someone chasing me (previously damaged mind you) over my base.  This person loops back around and shoots me after I've run to another plane and am rolling down the runway.  I didn't ever fire a shot at them and was headed back to base before they even saw me.  I called BS.

Later, I over flew the other base during a turn and the B17 was taking off.  Of course I never fired a shot at it because that would be camping.  This same individual still butt hurt from getting called out earlier starts threatening me telling me I'm cheating.  I hate to bring this petty bull shit to the forums but if this person can't let go then I guess I have to.

Aloha,

XJ

Re: Rules

Just because you bailed over your own base doesn't mean you get a get out of jail free card.

Re: Rules

Okay, so it's cool to shoot anyone who bails for the rest of the game then?  It's not like I bailed and he kept shooting.  I landed, ran to another plan and was halfway down the runway.

Re: Rules

Generally until either of you die. The point of the base rule is to let people get out of the base without getting killed first. As part of that, it's important to not make it some magic safe zone players can return to whenever they want protection.

Re: Rules

If you and i were dog fighting Chief and you flew back over your main, bailed out, and hopped into another plane and took off, I'd totally loop back and shoot your butt down. Its totally fair game because we were dog fighting before and you just happened to jump into a new vehicle.

BTW, the forum is here for whatever petty bullshit anyone wants to talk about really. It's the actual server where we want everyone to check their petty bullshit at the door. I'd really prefer pretty bullshit though.

Actually, it's really working like that. We have this magical damaging buble around the main bases... I was chased many times with a tank, i just rushed back to our main base and it worked like a magical safe zone.
I don't even see the point of anti-camp system, you have everything in your main base to defend it, it's the part of the game. I had a lot of good times defending the main bases in other servers (good old times). Now whe have these overregulated servers.

Just be careful, XJ Chief, if you loop around and happen to hit another player who has just spawned, or who has not yet left their base, then you are breaking the rules.

Even if the two players a close together, or in the same vehicle, you can't get both of them!

It starts with self-respect.  Good luck with that.

In fact, how about work on it a decade or two and come back and tell us how it went?

Re: Rules

Sometimes the understanding is in the explanation. I'd say this sums it up perfectly. And leaves no questions.

Napoléon, Hitler were winners, not because of what they've done, more because of how they did things successfully. It's common to call them dumbasses, but at least they'll be in every history book, we will never forget their name, ever, we will keep in mind how they led their ppl. Moreover, they were not born with a golden fork in their mouth, they reached the top with their skills, and this dear reader, is what i call a dream life, even though people relinquish them at the end (Napoléon), even though they were forced to commite suicide at the end of their life (Hitler). They were winners.

They were winners in their own mind.

I am into music. I discuss the validity of current music with many people.  I believe the true factor to saying music is 'good' is the test of time. Hendrix wins, Justin Bieber's "Ohh, baby, ohh" maybe no so much.

I think the scorecard on Hitler is he could have been a winner, but he was a butt-hurt loser in the end that committed suicide.

Does that inspire you?
