SiMPLE | BF1942 [USA] is online

Today, we launch a new Battlefield 1942 server in Los Angeles, California. This will be a server with 36 players slots due to some bandwidth constraints. This will, probably, please South American and Asian players, due to their lower ping there. The server will be focused, for now, mainly on capture the flag maps. Update your in-game server lists to see the server. Anyway, server details follow:

nice, i remember this with -=TL=- public server, u had in Texas, this is nice idea, we will maybe clear general server and those guys will be happier to have less pings

btw, whos gonna be the admin there ?

Yes, the -=TL=- public server in Texas was nice. Let's see how this server will go. Right now, it's running all non modded maps, but I plan on changing some maps. There are no admins for now, if the server gets popular we'll start recruiting.

hmm not that i noticed, it was quite good, i had ping almost 200 but i could still destroy tank with 2 shots

hey tuia, whats going on? I just discovered your USA server today. My BFgame search has been messing up lately, your French server doesnt show unless I click "favorites", is just me?
You wouldnt happen to have -=TL=-'s web address would you? My computer fried back in December and havnt talked to them since. I now keep getting PB error "A1331" anytime I try to get on a PB server, so I have no way of contacting them.

Hi TOOKIE! Glad to hear from you. The French server doesn't show up on Gamespy in-game server list when it has over 64 players, if you wanna join it you should manually connect to it or use a server browser like HSLW or Xfire.
-=TL=-'s web page is http://teamliberation.net76.net/. Your PunkBuster problem may be due to using an outdated PB version. You should download PunkBuster installer from http://www.pbbans.com/forums/punkbuster … 12090.html. Never had any problems with that.

Hola Gianni! Seras admin pero como prueba, espero que no hazas nada de tonto con TOOKIE GOODNITE o otros jugadores. TOOKIE GOODNITE es un jugador experimentado y justo, el no haceria algo sin razón. El servidor es reciente, si se torna popular estaremos buscando admins, y vamos a mejorar algunos mapas poco a poco. Saludos.

English translation:
Hello Gianni! You will be admin but as a trial, I hope you don't do anything silly with TOOKIE GOODNITE or other players. I have told you many times not to main basecamp Dyno. I have warned you several times with in game commands so you would know I am an admin. Again today you come & strafe me standing & my planes on airfield. I told you "easy there TL" and you turn around back & kill me. Then you tell me to "shut up". You know not to attack parked planes. So I kicked you.
Seriously Dyno, you know we read the logs.

I play BF1942. That is good news, I've noticed this week it has grown in popularity. Some changes to the maps will be made today and tomorrow.

the server is nice, i have about 160-190 lag ,but it doesnt feel like it at all. it had about 30-35 players yesterday, i might start playing there more often!

I love this server, and I love it when the server is full with 36 people.  Maybe you should increase the slots to 48?   Of course, I wouldn't want to create even more a hassle financially for the three owners.

The problem is not financial, the problem is time constraints. I would love to fully dedicate on improving and promoting the server. There are many ideas to carry out, but little time to do it, unfortunately. So don't be surprised if things go at snail's pace.

SiMPLE|USA has moved..please update your browsers to reflect the new IP address below.  You will notice an improvement to the old server right away.  Sorry for the down time...as was mentioned...we needed to get piper outfitted properly.  Now when you see that flash of purple...you know who it is.

What's the ping limit of this server? In less than a minute i've been automatically kicked for high-ping (same as SiMPLE [FRA])...

Did I get banned from the FRA TS server?  I understand...
