i hate stuff that gets popular due to ease-of-use, but lacks options for advanced control ... popcorn time is an example of that

its a sickening trend these days ... stuff has to be so easy so that apes will be able to use it, but as soon as you want to do a little customization/control, you hit a brick wall, just like in smartphone apps

i think it's a sign of iqs dropping last 20 years, and women and underdeveloped countries entering the comp scene

popcorn time is an example, easy but limited .... what if you want to:

- run frame by frame
- loop section
- change aspects ratio

and trillions of other things ... you can't

dowloading mov torrents, then using vlc, is incredibly easy, and allows more control. overall a much better option imo

the number of movs available via torrents are also much higher
