Post your fridge / daily / favourite foods

I’ve spent a lot of time trying to find out what healthy food is. Current science still don’t have a clear answer. Made my own interpretation which generally is:

As unprocessed as possible
As varied as possible

Raw vegetables
Raw fruits
Fish, beef , poultry
Nuts, seeds, kernels
Legumes, lentils, rice
Natural dairy
Grains, spices

So that’s what I eat most of the time

Occasional sinning happen too

Haven't drunk one drop of alcohol in 10 years, and definitely don't miss it .... YUCK ... tastes like s... is uncool and waste of money / ruins health, life, etc.

Yeah bananas turn brown quickly in fridges, they and some fruits, vegs are best preserved at room temperature, but I just don't want them laying around all over the kitchen

Re: Post your fridge / daily / favourite foods

I think it i good to have a healthy middle. Drinking too much in unhealthy, but sometimes a drink with friends is ok for me. But this year i really didn't drink much. Not more than 10 bottles of beer i guess.

I eat also a lot of veggies, fruits, berries, seeds, nuts, legumes etc...

Lean meat with lots of protein (chicken, beef), beans, protein shakes, green vegetables, bananas (post workout), nuts, sweet potatoes, milk
5 meals a day..
Sometimes I drink Blue Curacao, but always outside the house (at parties and stuff) and never drank beer in my life..  smile

Re: Post your fridge / daily / favourite foods

Lentils have about 27g protein on 100g and chicken about 19g. Doesn't look for me like a lot of proteins.

Where is your photo of 90kg and 6% bodyfat btw? Just to compare, Hook with his Abs has about 10% bodyfat.

Why don't you just say 1,80m... not bad if it is true.

@nameless Abs = 6 Pack
You can even see Abs with about 12% bodyfat. Some Bodybuilder have like 6% and professional footballplayer i.e. about 10%. But 6% is the limit because you can die if you go much lower.

Partly true, most bodybuilders when they're stage-ready (Mr. Olympia, arnold classic & the smaller shows) they are around 4% bodyfat (atleast less than 6%)
The lowest BF% of a bodybuilder I know of was 'Andreas Münzer', you might know him if you're interrested in bodybuilding smile
This is him:
1995_arnold_classic_review_b1216139758.jpg
He died because of his low bodyfat (as far as I know)

And I'm 1.77 m tall to be exact (I'm used to saying foot because of forum.bodybuilding.com being an american business)

Didn't know about him. I am interested in lifting weights but not only in Bodybuilding. Bodybuilding is only about show, about looking good and ripped etc... i want to be fit and healthy. I also lift weight but my priority is to keep a good form. Deadlift 120kg 3x6...

Gathering unhealthy stuff for my hopefully last round of binge eating in a long time. Held a stretch of 200 days with only unprocessed foods recently, will try to beat that soon.

Meat boosts testo? Where did you get this information? Actually it is the other way around. smile At least the fat in meat is bad for testo. Saw a study about that somewhere.

Saturated fat slightly increases it
And so does pure chocolate (this is why men like it, i would expect atleast)

The fitness-industry tells a lot of lies to sell their supplement. But protein is important to build muscle. It is about 1,2g - 1,5g protein per kg bodyweight some studies said. You don't need protein powder if you eat enough protein. It is not hard to get enough protein.

Variety of things. Fish (mostly from Superior), beef, venison, pork related things, chicken, and even bear, elk, and duck when it's their season! Eggs too!

We have many kinds of berries. So many blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries. Love potatoes also. Wild morel mushrooms are always great too! We always have rice waiting to be eaten as well since it is considered sacred food.

And I also love apples and watermelon. I wish we could grow them here but we can still buy them!

Cant forget about dairy! We have milk and cheese too!

But always trying to eat healthy... Nope! Had a big juicy spicey chicken sandwich with curly fries for lunch!

Yes, common mistakes of little wannabe machomen are too much protein and wanting to eat everything by bar/powder/drink/pill form. They usually end up permanently damaging their livers, kidneys, hearts and become wrecks when they reach their 30’s.

I eat everything. I need no special powder or something you are talking about. In my opinion, it's bullshit. When men do it to get so desirable ABS, I think they aren't far from women who are spending hours in front of the mirror. There is a word for this — Narcissism. smile
