Played this map tonight with nades turned on. Is actually one of my least favorite maps and with the nades on, it did seem to make the round a bit faster. I say let them stay!
Played it earlier with nades, and gotta agree with the bunch. Remove the nades, its really no good. Its an inf map, and I prefer to get it back to that.
Nades are part of the game...spamming is not.
No tanks...more cars...3 nades per pack, no refills....and CTF (an actual objective) instead of it just being blue get all the flags and hunt down stragglers to end it.

nades arent part of the game, its just stupid if allied cant get out of their base, and axis cant shoot anyone in between the buildings without getting naded .. some nerds even drop at own flag to switch before it explodes (thx to serebro for banning one of them last night lol..)
so its just a nadefest in between allied base and axis 1st..
right now i found out that sniping gets me a nice k/d in this new berlin.. (7+) much more fun than inf and less affected by lag which is extra bad with nades.. (70ping instead of usual 50) dont have to use nades to get kills either..
@ pitviper: cars are lame and only for people who like to drive over me.. i get killed every berlin by atleast 3 team jeeps running over me trying to get out of base (if allied), or axis trying to get into the allied base with high speeds (aka kaminazis)

Nades are not part of the game? Funny I seem to remember seeing them in all of the maps.
If the only complaint is that Allied team have issues with getting out of the main because of the nades why not move the spawn points a little. We had a similar issue with Battleaxe and the places that are spawned on Allied and Axis AF's. There are 3 soldier spawns one AF's that are all very close together so very easily camped by tank or nade spam. We moved the spawns so that they are more spaced apart and therefore not so easy to camp.
Why not move spawns in Berlin and maybe put Allied spawn in back alley maybe some in buildings nearer the outside of the main, just a thought.

At times it can be tough getting out of the allied base...after all axis has all flags at the start...the most logical solution would be to have the flag closest to blue white at the start of the round. Then axis are not in the "pocket" at the beginning.
Moon, don't know you brother.... but when I'm on axis, as we are pwning the front of blue base, if I switch to blue it wont take me very long to get out and get a flag...have done it thousands of times in the same situation. Lesser players constantly have the type of problems you are describing, not suggesting you are in any way shape or form...but those that are focused and determined to get out...usually do.

Yep. Playing with nades is just a different style. But the game isn't unbalanced when they're on.
I prefer to call 'playing with nades' as fondling...
First the damn keys off my keyboard, then the scroll wheel from my mouse, and now this.
