Who, what, when now!

So who nominated me as an admin and is this the normal procedure?  Janet/Monkey I thank you for the vote of confidence and I am honoured that you would think me worthy to be an admin on the Simple servers that said I do not wish to have any special treatment.  As Monkey rightly points out I don't see an application in the forums either and I certainly would not want to jump the line or anything like that besides there is I am sure a few of the admin team here that would definitely not support this nomination.

But I really do thank you for the consideration

As far as I know Pitviper is the one to talk to these days. 
Of course there's no PM at the moment so if you want to apply you should do it on the application thread.
Or, you could jump on TS when viper's on and see what he thinks - I've no idea what the situation is like for admins at the mo, whether they're needed or not.

I guess your connection timed out before you could finish your sentence.  I'm pretty sure I know what you were going to say:

Like I said there will be others on the admin team that definitely will not support this, but thanks for keeping the Dink's history files alive and all this time I never even knew you were a fan

Hi all - apologies for any confusion (or ancillary strife) caused by my request - having never been banned before I was not aware of  the 15 min period.  In light of that, consider my request retracted ;-)  Besides, karma and I had some great battles together last night, 2hrs of sleep for me, and I had the pleasure of tending to three overly energetic children at 6am this morning.

Thanks to whoever called me a young one, I'll take the compliment and relay the message to my wife.  To those wondering about my handle, I am a musician and Tull is my favorite band.  Now, it appears I have a sandwich shop to visit...
