When american army losses flags and their enemy has more of them, one can hear words "We taken taishwunteist" (loss of tickets). What for "TAISHWUNTEIST"? English is not my native language, explain me, please.
we taking casualties
means soldiers dying
a person who is hurt or killed during an accident, war, etc.
a low number of casualties
The army suffered/took/sustained heavy casualties [=many soldiers were killed or wounded] in the town.
casualty rates [=the number of people wounded or killed each day]

The actual statement in English is: "we're taking casualties"
