I use torrent for certain things, but I prefer to download tv shows/movies from the video streaming sites because then I can basically preview them to see if it's in fact the one I'm looking for, basic stuff like that.

You could check out plex, here is a random link example from reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/plexshares/ there might be better threads with lots of ethusiasts that like to build and share stuff with friendly people.

I use plex. I download various movies and TV series and put them in my plex folder so I can stream it to my TV.

Just finished the latest episode of Star Trek Discovery. Yay for Saru!

I must note that 95% of Russian films are total nonsense. This one is not an exception, it has almost nothing to do with the history or reality in general. We have a popular website here, something like American IMDB:
