Cinema and good movies

Hello guys,

I thought it could be a nice idea to create a topic about cinema and good movies where people can talk about the last movies they have watched and recommend them to other people.

Have you seen Argo yet ? It is a movie directed by Ben Affleck, that is based on the true story of the Iran hostage crisis which took place in the 1970s when Jimmy Carter was President of the United States. People attacked the American embassy in Teheran and more than 50 people had been taken as hostages whereas 6 people succeeded in escaping from the embassy and could hide in the home of the Canadian ambassador.

The CIA had to come up with a solution to help the 6 escapees go back to the USA before they got caught by Iranian militants.

I saw this movie last week and i thought it was pretty good and interesting !

Re: Cinema and good movies

I saw the Movie L.A. Crash with Ben Affleck. He acted pretty well in this movie. And the movie is also very good. I don't know this one.

The last movie I saw was Loop with Bruce Willis. The movie is not bad but there is no logic. Time travel like in Terminator doesn't make sense.

Re: Cinema and good movies

I had really enjoyed watching " Children of Men (2006) "
some of scenes there shooted uncut- by  "one-camera" - just awesome, also the film has a claim to contain a moral
but maybe everybody saw it

Ive seen +/- 1000 movies in my life. I rated most of them on a Polish site Filmweb (second largest base on the world, after IMDb).

Cloud atlas - definitly one of better movies i have seen lately, yesterday i watched hobitt and its ok if you liked lord of the rings (orcs, trolls, goblins, dwarfes..). but it sucks its trilogy again and you have to wait for second part.

Re: Cinema and good movies

You'll see what i mean, in ways, he really is better, he pure jokes, like a samurai mr magoo, hilarious, try to make sure you stoned when you watch it

and im only saying that in the movie sense, not that he is actually better in R/L
lee over all goes without saying in that respect

Re: Cinema and good movies

Im gonna watch... but I hope to find it in better quality. Was just kidding with Bruce Lee, I know how you mean it... saw a pretty new documentation about Bruce Lee lately. He is a hero since i was a kid... it is unbelievable how a human being can be so fast. Sad that he died so early... sad

Someone saw the series Homeland? With the actor who plays Sgt. Winters in Band of Brothers. It's not so bad... the 2nd season is over now.

You can download the movie here:

http://www.ddlvalley.eu/cloud-atlas-201 … iaofriend/

Use the multiupload links... you don't need a premium account to have a fast download. Just click on the links and click then on "direct download", now just type in the question and it will start to download. You need to download every part to watch it.

The quality is very good (HD 720p), just the sound quality is from cinema. But I am gonna watch it now. smile

Did someone see the series Spartacus? Just watched the 3. season... the actor died of cancer and they had a new guy for the 3rd season. The former actor was better, he was more authentic because he had much more muscles. Great series, i can only recommend it... sex, violence and dirt. big_smile

3. season

1. season with the real actor

I´ve watched it since it begun. Im waiting now for another season starting mid January. The first actor that portraid Spartacus died in real life so they had to replace him. He was very good.

Actually I didnt care much about tv series but those 3 just got me addicted. I also like Dexter but not to this point and Homeland I have to say it´s the best series ever, incredibly well written, great acting, thrilling, alot of suspense, fantastic...well the serie won all important emmy awards, that says alot

If you want watch first the 2. season... Gods of the arena. That's the beginning. But this series is hard to understand in english, because they use words which are not common today.

I stopped watching Game of Thrones after the 1st season, i think it just got bored and slow paced.

Band of Brothers and The Pacific are 2 great ww2 series produced by Spielberg, a must see too.

Re: Cinema and good movies

I still like Game of Thrones, but you are right Lecter. I was waiting all the time for dragons and how the attack this little bastard kid. big_smile Took a bit too long everything and they didn't show the Dothraki so often, and then this witch... nevermind, i am not talking too much, maybe someone didn't saw it. The characters are amazing like the dwarf, he is very funny. I like it when movies are slow paced like "Once upon a Time in the West". One of the best movie ever... love it. But i don't like it when the story are slow paced like in "Lost"... you are waiting all the time what will happen and they show some stories from the past. Annoying!

Band of Brothers was produced by Tom Hanks too btw. wink I will check out Fringe later. First "The Wire". Because i have it here already. Only DVDrip but it's ok. wink
