Yeah I checked that thread - I'm already patched!

I assume your SW & RtR install works fine? Did you have to use a key or what?

I do not use Origin at all and yes works no problem and yes I still have the keys for SW and RTR

So where did you get the SW and RTR from and does the source not have the keys?

I had the same problem when i bought Road to rome and secret weapon and installed that => Maps not found

I thus downloaded both add-ons above on SiMPLE DOWNLOAD and then put back the original keys, that works like a charm.

So, I think that you have a problem with the key.

To change your key to try, i invite you to PM tuia.

SW and RtR both from the SiMPLE download.

Key - or lack of it is the problem, I think. I don't have them for SW or RtR.

I know the SiMPLE servers are supposed to be keyless but obvs still an issue.

So how the hell do you get a key? I can't find a digital copy for sale anywhere...??

So I've solved my problem: was able to pick up a 2nd hand copy of SW, and the key has worked fine.

Hi all

This is an old thread I know but...I'm having this same problem, even trying to use the nokey servers listed above.

MAP NOT FOUND

Is there any way around this?

I have had the same problem and was not able to join any Road to Rome or Secret Weapons servers. Always ''MAP NOT FOUND''. Today I finally took time and fixed the issue. The issue comes with the installation of the non-origin version of the game which I installed long ago. After installation you will need to manually put a REAL bf1942 cdkey for your bf1942 game. If not, RTR and SW will show MAP NOT FOUND for any multiplayer sw/rtr game or they might not even want to go to install the expansions. Even after you manually edited your registry they wont work unless you have put a REAL bf1942 cd-key for the original bf1942 as the expansions seem to check if the original game also has a valid cdkey.

Hope this will help anyone having same issues and will now be able to enjoy the expansions too.

Hmm, I wonder what they're checking?  There are easily things I wasn't aware of, but the only key verification I was aware of was the now-shutdown Gamespy service.  Wonder if they have check digits like a credit card number or similar, where you can tell whether "the number agrees with itself."

Can you please updated the bf1942hd Package against crash, after patch with the new Masterserver file. The only file what this bf1942hd package need is the new bf1942.exe to find Servers (03/22) again. This one missed in bf1942hd: https://www.moddb.com/games/battlefield … 2org-patch
