the only solution is to make it illegal for everybody except police, to carry guns and similar dangerous weapons

in denmark, its virtually impossible to get a permit for firearms, both at home or in public

possesion of a gun, currently results in a 1 - 4 year prison sentence, theres no mercy by the judicial system for anyone

and it works. shootings and murders by guns are very rare

As I've stated in another thread before... we don't care what others think about our laws and neither should anyone from another country care what us or anyone else thinks about theirs.

One interesting fact of these days that I find funny. The U.S. government on behalf of the spokesperson of the embassy decided to criticise the decision of the Russian regional supreme court on one person. This person is Yuri Dmitriev, a historian and an oppositionist.

What makes this story funny? The guy got 10 year of prison for paedophilia. He has been doing absolutely naked photos of his step daughter in very disgraceful positions and he has been touching her everywhere for a few years since she was in the elementary school. These photos were shown in the news. Blurred, of course.

wow. how is showing blurred photos of naked kid news worthy? the big elephant in the room is julian assange. if he get released to usa, it is the end of negative news stories about usa in the whole world. and that can be a slippery slope to tyranny. hitler will be a small boy compared to the future president with no free press to write about important stuff
