knife kills double points

I was wondering who would like if knife kills would be double points??

I would like if a knife kill would be 2 points (instead of 1)

so me, henk and hell breaker aka gambit, we were messing with new command called !port which teleports only user id #0

I think i'l finish it Tuesday, and if Tuia has time to upload it, then at the end of next week you will have your double knife
I can ask Tuia if he will also add a Coffee-Machine-Gun shooting Coffee-beans

It's pretty much !port1 and !port2 to spam, it only affects numb 0 user, but it's fun command to use. There are some bugs as well that mg teleports with you as well hehe.

id like to make the position and the player id variable
But it would require a better server manager than the one from bag ops.
so now i hardcoded a few nice locations for ID #0

Double points for a knife kill is not that interesting like, for example, 50 points for a top Axis flag on Omaha Beach.

I would love if you could get points for destroyed aircrafts on maps like coral sea and battle of Britain, all that effort to take them down just for the pilot to jump out and get killed by someone else

Cool, but 2 points as a reward makes no sense, it's the same as flag capture... Knife kills are hard and rare, so it should be at least 5, in my opinion

Id love that too. But it wont be easy, because i need to make check on whether is was once an occupied vehicle. Otherwise people keep destroying spawned planes

Try to convince the high-pingers. As low-pinger id like 3 points for knifing, but is not fair in my opinion.

currently, with this new knife-mod, one knife kill gives three points (1 kill-point + 2 non-kill-points)

that too much in my opinion

a knife kill should maximum give two in total  (1 kill-point + 1 non-kill point)

actually, i would prefer that knife kills should just give the standard / default, one point in total. this big bonus turns the game into a knife-clown contest. there are many, much more difficult ways to kill enemies in bf1942, and they all give one point. why reward knifers ?

my opinion is also, that we should not start to differentiate points for kills. they all should give just one
