i was disgusted to see how derek chauvin just stood with his knee for minutes on george floyds neck, cutting off blood and oxygen supply, just outright killing him

derek chauvin should get at least 10 years in prison, life in prison, or a death sentence, in my opinion

The cop should rot in prison.

People are making it like you can't be against a cop who murdered a guy and also be against the rioters/looters at the same time.

The rioters/looters are just destroying their own community. Many businesses owned by black people. Some who will never financially recover. It's pathetic. They are just opportunistic assholes who ruined a protest that was once peaceful. Many are not even from the places. They go in to agitate. Everytime the looting shit starts, people just forget the peaceful protests. Some store owners stand guard with guns and have a chance to save their business. Others are just looted and burned.

They yell "They treat us like thugs and animals" and then act exactly that way.

MN doesn't have the death penalty. They're charging him with the same charges they charged a cop who shot and killed an Australian woman a few years ago. I think he got 13 years. However, if the federal government decides to file civil rights charges, then that changes everything. Violating 4th Amendment is obvious and could be a charge but proving it was racial isn't easy to make it a hate crime charge.

Chauvin and one of the other cops involved have had many complaints and even shootings that were "questionable" that I heard. He should have been fired long ago.

It's sad that people had to riot for authority to take action against that policeman. He was fired (not arrested) after Floyd died. So people got angry and they reacted. Only after that  he was arrested. Not to mention the well scripted scenario where media says "Skin color was not a factor". Americans just can't accept that black people are not their slaves anymore.

Seattle mayor told police to leave one of their precincts and are allowing them to stay in a 4block area they called Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ). It's basically a big homeless camp. Within 2 days they ran out of food and requested donations and city brought them porta potties. That mayor and governor there are all about appeasing to them and afraid to do anything about it because they don't want to make the groups look bad and don't want to be called racists or fascists, which is gunny because they are acting little fascists in their pretend utopia CHAZ. It's full of rape, robbery, and overdoses too. Sounds like paradise for them.

I say cut off water, electricity, everything to that area and stop paying unemployment benefits. God knows they don't have jobs.

Heard that The Simpsons cast is getting changed so black people will voice actual black people in the show, from what I've seen there have been shows that are being cancelled and shit for things such as racism. Is this connected to the BLM movement or something?

It's called "people losing their f'ing minds" now.  I live in Rhode island, although it's full name
for the last 240+ years has been  "State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.
The name has nothing to do with cotton plantations at all, yet now a few whiners say
that it makes them think of slavery, so we're stripping that portion from the name.
Think of the cost involved in replacing signage, documents, statues, etc..

Nah, being from Ukraine myself I think better immigrate to South Europe like Italy: Chilling, good food, good weather, quite good quality of life, mentality I like, friendly and open people(mostly)
