Re: deeper conversations, out of context and storytelling

A short one. From my Father. Now passed.
I believe this was in Ardennes? After days of fighting they found a damaged house to rest inside. There a case of wine was found. They each took bottles and my Father had never drank wine beyond a glass. He got his first drunk there, only to wake from the fog and find he was alone in the house. He found his brothers walking out of town on the dirt road and rejoined. With a headache. He told me it scared the heck out of him not knowing what had happened.
He told very few stories, unless you knew HOW to ask. I miss him and wish he was alive now that I am older and wiser, to KNOW how to ask him again.
I have quite a few pictures he took from North Africa, to The Bulge where he completed his tour. And I have his medals. And a few of his memories.

@ Pleiades53 nice story.

@ BFSoldier1 the last kill i did not see you. but i feel honored that you made a video about killing me. they should change your handle to noob killer. but we got a problem. prime time on the server it was only 20 players. you sitting in the bf17 spawnkilling in battle of britain might have something to do with it. not only are you killing noob spawners but you are also killing the server. shame on you. and with you sitting in the enemy base your team lost. good job. it's time to make some new rules to stop this disruptive behavior.

She already shared quite a lot here the last few years. But i am 100% this lady has some things to teach us... 100% sure about that. She ain't old... "just a young pretty chick" but she is special... i cannot point it out (i am no hunter so i did not profile her, she is more like a sister to me/us).

Re: deeper conversations, out of context and storytelling

i just back home from a night out.. a friend got his door kicked in by special force team at his house and they ALMOST shot his dog

i know this guy for a few years now... i think i know he ok... so i rushed over to support him (and the team where possible)

turned out... they at the "wrong door".... no appolgy... i spoke to the supervisor and i noticed he wanted to run away (yeah that aint a cheap door)

im home... this week we go see if we can charge the damage

geez... u not gonna catch ur criminal if u cannot find the right door AND open it without brute force.. these special teams get more idiot by the day.. i can open that door with a lockpick set in like 2 minutes...

i go sleep.. had enough for one night

I actually asked my uncle (cop) that question years ago. Insurance covers it usually. If not, many times a dept has insurance that will pay or the dept has a fund that does.

if it's a steel reinforced door. like an armored door. then there could be a problem. i know a guy who bought a old jewellery store with bullet proof windows. bigger problem.

No it is not.. hahahaha....

I was telling the guy (with the police still present) a story about some doors i made in Amsterdam Coffee Shop that we had many years ago. We used construction pipes behind every door and 2 per window. That helps!!!

steigerbouw_van-onderen_04.jpg

We had 3 times criminal gangs try to get inside, they failed and one time end up shoot their guns empty on the front door. That was when the governor decided we had to close shop (we didn't, we got lawyers, u know, go play with ur pen till ur tired/bored/out of money).

I wish back then i had mobile phone with camera. All these 1 2 3 4 5 6 (19 shots total) boards infront of our shop. Looked quite cool.

kogels-web.jpg

I actually did catch these guys (the police did not, dumbo's, no idea where to look)... one of them (the boss, uuh what was his name, OH YES Batenburg was his last name) said "sorry" and "i did not come there for you". I knew what he came for. It was a failed drugsdeal he had with my partner. Some 2000 dutch guilders. Pitty cash... in fact i went out with Batenburg one time and in one evening he spend like 4000 guilders on us (including the car he set on fire, the destructive idiot).

He payed the whole evening "u lost ur business" he said... which i did not... but whatever he ain't that smart. Batenburg if u read this: "YOU ARE AN IDIOT" hahahaha... (i always end with a smile else they get scared and pull a gun... u know how it works).

OH... wait... another story with Batenburg... HAHAHHAAHA i almost forgot...

One day he came in our shop (a year before that) he was looking for Jeroen (nickname BOS). I sat at the door smoking a cigar. He came inside but nobody really noticed him. So what did the fucker do??????

He pull his pistol... aim it to the side (MY HEAD) and said "WHERE IS BOS?". I was like "WHAT THE f*ck" i grabbed his gun out of his hands.

He ANGRY AT ME ahhahahaha he said "WTF Terence... i could have SHOT YOU it is SHARP AND LOADED"... i smiled at him "bos is not here dude, and i do not think you could have shot me, i had the gun in my hands remember?". His face... so funny.... he quiet and left (after i politely gave him back his pistol).

Many years later i met him somewhere downtown Amsterdam in some sleazy night club. He drunk with his gang making a mess and harass the women/girls (what else is new, he aint got no pussy, actually Jeroen also stole his girlfriend hahahahahhahaha).

Wait wait.... i am getting lost... OH YES>.... i walk up to his gang and i told him "hey Batenburg, do not, DO NOT, tell me you used that gun that i grabbed out of your hands, WITH MY FINGERPRINTS ON IT for a bank robbery" and i smiled.. he said NOT A WORD and gave me a bottle of champagne. So i know.. he did something with that gun... damnit... hahahaha.. whatever!!!!

Those times i had several nicknames with them:

1 terence hill
2 MacGyver
https://youtu.be/r8dfQja43Ik?t=3725

and

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvft26_yQz8

These days people call me SPAMMER (gosh, balls u have, dude.... THE BALLS YOU HAVE are little as fvck)

Mess with the best and die like the rest

Did i already tell u guys: I AM NOT KIDDING YOU!

Re: deeper conversations, out of context and storytelling

I'm a fairly boring person

I have a very "deep story" of my week:

It was a fairly cool and cloudy day. It was all week. I wore a regular shirt and work coat on Tuesday (no work on Monday due to holiday).

Wednesday, due to cold the previous day, I decided to wear a hoodie. Got to work and took the hoodie off to put my work coat on.

Thursday... it was raining and miserable. The temperature control system for the building wasn't working near the end of the day.

Friday, I was running late. I just threw on a hoodie and got to work. AC was not working correctly.  Unfortunately, I had to wear my work coat over my hoodie because that's all I pretty much had.

I sweated like crazy.. all day. I smelled. I took a shower. I ate. I did stuff. I slept.

The end.

Not only the topic. Since 2 weeks i ask myself sometimes, why i even checked the forum.

There are some areas which are really hard to read. People post something "funny". But it's far away from fun.

Between i thought that the level can't drop more, ... but i was wrong.
