A guy at my cell phone carrier was going on and on about a new upcoming nokia phone when I was buying a new phone a couple months ago. He said it'll be direct competition with Samsung and iPhone when it comes out.

I guess there has been a lot of hype about Nokia's comeback because they used to be the market leader and suddenly disappeared. I don't think their new phones are particularly better than Samsung phones or the iphone but from the reviews I have read so far they seem to be good, depending on which model you buy of course. I suppose in the end it's a matter of preference as all the smartphones nowadays to me look alike anyway.

Speaking roughly about Nokia 6, it's really good for its price segment. It's made of one piece of metal and Android works really fast. Everything else like camera, screen resolution and fingerprint unlock are also good.

i don't know about new nokia. nokia company was left behind in cell phone technology for many years. i'm not convinced now from them, maybe in future if they doing good job.
i have from 2015 Asus Zenfone 2(ZE551 ML) it was beast back then and even now is very fast. but asus dont have any plans to upgrade to android 7 or 8. so now i'm thinking to buy a new model from asus, the Asus Zenfone 5z (ZS620KL). i think it is amazing phone and value for money. you can check it https://www.asus.com/us/Phone/ZenFone-5Z-ZS620KL/

Used Asus zenphone 5 but it dies a year ago, so now I use this one for 6 months, love its huge battery

we talk for different models cause 5z released about 1,5 month ago

I dont like that they have started to build in the batteries so much that you cant change them out (atleast not easily) .

One app i installed once, effed up my phone. i know it was doing something like 100%, because the phone got really hot, normally i had just pried out the battery but now i couldnt do that so i just stood there feeling dumb waiting to see if anything would melt down or explode.

There is usually a way using a combination of buttons to simulate a battery removal on those types of phones.

Currently in an LG K20 V; no-tool removable back cover, modular battery. After having to change out a couple of my wife's iPhone batteries, I didn't want any of that bullshit when I was forced off my Android 4.0 phone onto something newer. Here's hoping there is still such an option whenever I get forced off of this one.

My dishwater kinda forced me to buy a new after i dropped my old one in the sink. I had some kind of brain meltdown i think, because i just stood there looking at it thinking "wow it still works" (the screen was still light, looking as usual)

Anyway it died ofcourse, and i needed a new fast, so i just bought one i found on sale. Only thing good i can think of it, is that it has usb-c (one can plug in the cable witch ever way, no up or down)

Uhh i have no idea about that stuff, in that situation it was more a battle of "dont throw it in the wall) going on in my head. But i shall look it up on the interwebs (manuals is for pussys)
