Haha! Im+ glad i dont have to play lika that
@ tuia you can change the console Access level if you not done that already
How to do it? Changing it to Console.access c_totalAccess doesn't help as well as Console.access 2...

I don't know how to change the console access level. I've unlocked the console by hacking the client executable: at offset 0x0019F228 (BF1942.exe v1.61) and at offset 0x0019F2C8 (BF1942.exe v1.6) change byte value 75 to EB.

Hey this is awesome, thx a lot 
How can I also modify the chat font? The player tags are ok now but I can not chat in widescreen... same problem as with player tags before applying this fix..

Game chat can be increased with game.fontRatio command, but it only works with some resolutions.
By the way, recently I found out that it doesn't work with 800x600 and was very surprised

so any way that chat can be enlargered with those high resolutions like 1200x1000?
and how did u guys put bigger resolutions than ones offered in game?

Are you sure your monitor resolution is 1200x1000? Also make sure you set maximum resolution in settings, if you use widescreen fix it's the last one in list

Yes, you should. 
Use widescreen executable even if you run a low resolution. That executable has some bugs fixed and No CD patch is fully correct. Changes are explained in the text file inside package.
