Re: Moving to Paris

sorry for keeping suggesting stuff youve likely already thought of, but how about using the moongamers method, only, when you turn off the roubaix redirection ? (like it was today for 30 mins)

so players using the old ip, instead of a --failed to connect to server-- sign, they enter the paused roubaix server with rapid server messages ....

Re: Moving to Paris

That was an accident today... but that method can be tested. I do agree, it is better than "failed to connect" error message. But things are slowly improving, it hasn't been a week and more and more players have made the transition.

Re: Moving to Paris

Well, back in 2016 we already had the subhuman wave issue.
Since the copy paste of hillary clinton is president (I call macron), the infection can only get worse.

On top of that we now have a feminist fever (marlène schiappa is a typical exemple)....

At least the good side is that people will get pissed any time soon,  and they will vote for someone like me, willing to eradicate diversity and political correctness smile

Sieg Heil!

It's taking a long time to load threads on the forum. I'll click on a thread & it takes a good 10 to 15 seconds to see it. Does that mean theres unusually high people on forums?

Ok that's weird.

From my Position it turns over Amsterdam.

It makes an far triangel, instead going straight to Paris to the left. It's a 2.5x longer way.

Fuk dis smile

Re: Moving to Paris

I have a question.

Do you people experience the problems with connection to the server? I'll try to explain as possible. My ping now is 80 ms. It's not that really high but I feel it like my ping is 150 ms or higher. Infantry, tanking, dogfighting, everything became much more difficult than it was before. The distance to shoot forehand is twice or thrice more longer. It's not typical for 80 ms ping.

Re: Moving to Paris

Ever since the transition to the new location i'm getting many problems with the server

Today for example my ping was stable 140 ms even tho it should have been 84

I've checked a dozen other servers and my ping was pretty stable from 75 to 80 there

Also my views keep bugging as if i had a ping of 200 ms or above

And yes aiming is much stranger now for me i have to lead much further with 84 ping than usual

I play since years like this. smile

Sometimes not bad, sometime it's a bit better and sometimes unplayble.

...

Next week i call my provider to reroute my signal. There's no reason why it should go from Basel to Paris via Amsterdam, instead directly to Paris.

(They can only reroute if the specified Hop is in your country).

Btw. Shämeless. Must have been Abas at 0:30, behind you smile

There is also some PacketLoss on the last 2 Hops in Paris, 195.154.2.103/195.154.1.177, and the server itself. (Each minute for a second or so, just ~1% +/-)
