2016 Battlefield 1942 Awards

We are approaching the end of the current year, and I had this idea to give some recognition to some outstanding players in Battlefield 1942. It is about time for a Battlefield 1942 community awards, so I invite all of you to pick your choice. Everyone is free to voice their opinion, but you can't vote for yourself, of course. Have in mind, that you should vote for active players that have actually played this year 2016, in public or clan servers, so don't come out saying that "Honan is the best inf" or "Butcher is the best", etc.. Here are the categories, maybe someone can suggest a few others:

Best pilot
Best tanker
Best inf
Best sniper
Best zooker
Best all-rounder
Best rookie
Best clan
Best server
Best video

About best BF1942 server category, I know there are not much BF1942 servers to pick and it is not fair to run this poll in this forum, since most forum members will vote for a SiMPLE server. I ask you to choose any other server, besides SiMPLE, you can make an honorable mention to a SiMPLE server of your preference, if you wish.

I will make my choices in a few hours, and will probably edit them later, but you can go ahead. This voting process will go until 1st of January, so any new BF1942 videos released can be considered.

That award would definitely be given to you. There should not be many categories, so remaining ones stay relevant.

Definitely, SiMPLE is the best server and tuia is the man of the year in Battlefield 1942. I think we should thank him for all the efforts he made to let us play together. s[sk], I am sorry. You are on the second place in my prejudiced ratings.

Best pilot: SleveN - He won the pilots' tournament or reached the final against Viitapiru, can't remember if they did play against each other. He made it look easy against joint and some other good pilots.

Best tanker: ROMIK KZN - I was pleasantly surprised that FearofthedarkHU and war.fr won most of their games in tank's ladder. ROMIK KZN seems to me stronger, with Flettnerman as a teammate (pardon me Flettnerman!) who is not in the same level, they won their 2v2 tank matches against FearofthedarkHU and war.fr. A tough choice.

Best inf: Flasche - He won all his matches in bf-league's inf ladder against some tough opposition. A nice surprise. Sorry lachesis, you didn't make it. No cake for you! I think Butcher did play this year some public and clan matches, however I cannot judge how well he fared against the younger generation in those clan matches.

Best sniper: Frieterie - He is not a clanner, nevertheless, he is deadly accurate if you are in his cross-sights.

Best zooker: ... I have no idea, yet.

Best all-rounder: SleveN - Very strong in tanks, superb in air, and a very good inf.

Best rookie: Grove4life - I am not sure if he is new to the game, but anyway he is a surprise to me. He quickly upped his game.

Best clan: ¤)ßmÇ(¤ - I haven't followed much bf-league's matches this year, it seems Bad Man Clan stayed on top in this year competitions.

Best pilot: Viitapiru - this guy is an instant death in air

Best tanker: Diamondback - he is the best in heavy tanks, RaKLeZ also for light tanks

Best inf: Ramjet - bf league ladder doesnt show anything, everyone didnt participate in that, but i choose ramjet, i cant describe how he killed 15 infs at around 50 second in invasion of Philippines

Best sniper: Frieterie - surely Frieterie

Best zooker: Kpt. Kurt - from aX server he isnt on this forum, but if we put him away then Arkos is the man

Best all-rounder: jazzy - i vote for jazzy he just kills in any situation ,vale is also a choice

Best rookie: Grove4life - i also think Grove4life improved fast

Best clan: <TnS> - i choose TnS, they are good in tactics

best inf: lecter ..... by far ....

low ping, a good net connection and good pc hardware is not skill, they are advantages that has got nothing to do with the person playing

if lecters packet loss net, old operating system install, and hardware (Athlon 64X2 4200+, GeForce 8400GS, etc. ?) is as bad as he says (i believe him) then it is very impressive what he does

im sure if he got top-notch gear, he would be classes above the best infs in bf1942

best server : aX .... virtually no crashes, no disconnection warnings, low spawn times, high player skill level, low level of rulebreaking, low level of teamkilling, 2 rounds for maps that last less than 15 minutes, fast round start, custom auto server messages, custom auto server mechanisms, mobile apc spawn only on one map, no ctf, relaxed nametag rules, no unscheduled mapskipping, no mapvote

Best inf: Lecter

I played a lot on rtr sw server and i can say for that one that Fette Nutte alias Anna is very good tanker, she or he deserve such award !

Nomax and Anna are very good. If you saw them once in Tobruk or Bulge, you know what is a good tanker.

There are many zookers and other tankers around. If someone can survive there it means sumdin.

tuia's list is more realistic. Being a good tanker doesn't mean to be good in 2on2 or something. On min. 8on8 maps you see who the really good tanker are. Using the MG against planes plays also an important part.

Most of you don't know Ultra', he was a really good tanker. For me nomax is the best tanker from the active players.

A great video from coL.HT, it has an awesome intro, despite the bad taste disrespectful image of Hitler, very good editing and some really good sniper kills displayed. It is not my type of music, though. Just watch it, if you haven't already.

"Raketenhorst" for zook, "Fette Nutte alias Anna" for Tank, "Mc Coffee" for plane. Chose by issues taken from rtr/sw and includes Skills like teamplay and tactics as well as skill on weapon

Ultra' had sick scores on server with good player back in the day and even in clanwars he had always crazy scores... about jna he has a nice aiming, i saw his video but never saw him playing or i don't remember him from old days. Today on public server it is easy to get high scores. It is really nothing special. There are players with good aiming skill today but if you want to be really good tanker you need to have a good overview and to be a strategic player, which are rare today. Strategic player doesn't mean to find a nice spot and get high scores there. It means to know all the time where to go with the tank and right time to leave the place.
That is why BF1942 is the best game for me. nomax is a strategic player with good aim, that is why he is my favorite. I also like Romazik's gameplay. He is a fair player and very good in tank.

but Denny i didnt know he was tanker, War he still play BF ?And Fear he is the best manager of bfleague but not a good tanker.
