You can use Dxtory to capture the game, just change from file output to DirectShow output and it will turn up as a webcam to your prefered stream program.
edit: I do like this because Xsplit broadcaster wont capture fullscreen without paying full license.

my favorite way (expensive, slightly cumbersome) of recording with virtually no performance impact :
clone gpu output, one to the gaming screen, one to a secondary pc with a hardware video grabber

Ugh, its me that is outdated. When it first come on the market it was more expensive and only one or two system to choose from.
Guess I was using the old version of OBS, but now in OBS Studio I don't know how to fix the audio delay from the game to my mic
Whoopz, OBS Studio is a great free program to stream or record your BF1942 gameplay. You should try get some answers to your mic problem in their forum: https://obsproject.com/forum/
You can still download the older OBS Classic for Windows.

Thanks for the tip, but I think I actually fixed it already. I was using the older version of OBS, OBS Classic before, and it caused my game to crash, I knew how to fix my audio there because I have used it in the past, but not on the new OBS Studio, somehow I got it solved now though (tbh. I think it was just my pc being weird)
Already played a bit too much https://www.twitch.tv/whoopzplays/v/106385108 it's especially fun if viewers ask me for bf1 haha
Now to the fun part: Making a cool league overlay somehow
