Re: USA presidential

Nothing will change but I have got to hand it to you, Americans, you always can do your geopolitics and nobody gives a fuck about something else but American profit, no matter what. Like from the old times when you bought huge Indian territories for small change like the Manhattan island and up to these days when a lady from the US Department of State bought one European nation for a pack of cookies. Everything will be legitimate on behalf of the US.

People from a group called MoveOn was at the school asking people to protests a Trump rally a couple months ago (not sure if they offered money. I ignored them). There's also Craigslist ads in different areas that say they'll pay a grand per week just to protest and block traffic.

Thats bullshits , if all Hillary voters go to protests , still there will be less people than those who support Trump. Trump is legal president, but a lot legal presidents gone because of USA/EU policy , hope that Trump will not be one of them.Even kids knows who is behind these protests.

It's probably worth noting that Hillary is up in the popular vote by about 800,000 votes right now according to CNN
http://edition.cnn.com/election/results/president

Still, violent protests aren't the answer.

CNN Mr. Tuesday?  I would not trust that cable news show to tell the temperature.  Trump won both the majority vote and the electoral vote.  All that matters is the latter.

People that say nothing will change are doomed to never see change even when it's slapping them in the face. You went to Cowboys and Indians nameless?  bwaahahahaha... man you are old school Russian.

I would not be so confident about Trump, PitViper. I believe you Americans have been fooled (again). Think about it, what do you expect from a Wall Street billionaire who proclaims he will put Israel first?

I recognise that news networks often have a bias but Fox also have Hillary winning the popular vote right now and by the same margin

I'm not sure what you mean by majority vote, isn't it the same as popular vote?

I know that in regard to who wins the presidency only the electoral vote matters. I just thought I would point this out since you and Vojislav both seem to have suggested there are more Trump supporters in the US which doesn't seem to be true.

Re: USA presidential

No question the sheeple in the US have been fooled many times over Tuia.  I would not call the people that voted for Trump sheeple. These people are the system...the money train,  the earners that have said enough...the jig is up.  We are the ones paying taxes and it's OUR money...not money for the variety of leeches like.... greedy corporations selling us Chinese goods or the nearly half of the people in this country, that are dependents of some sort.  They are going to have to depend on themselves very soon.  So sit back...grab some popcorn.  The bubble is going to pop.

You do not have to be confident about him...we are.  What really should be happening is everyone taking a back seat to time...as it will tell all.

Bush won the due electoral votes, same way like trump. Gore and hillary had both more people votes, but this doesn't count for presidency.

Re: USA presidential

It's debatable that clinton won the popular vote..,especially due to voter fraud...perhaps in the 3+ million range.  More importantly Trump got what mattered... EC votes from wining more states.  She won far fewer complete States. So we have the 3 needed areas of govt to get shit done.  We won the House, Senate and Presidency.

Care to elaborate on "voter fraud"? big_smile

@Arkos Nämeless is talking about that family Bush helped George W. Bush to become president by rigging the vote in Florida.

Taken from wikipedia wrote:

It was the closest presidential election in the nation's history, with a .009% margin, 537 votes, separating the two candidates in the decisive state, Florida. The narrow margin there triggered a mandatory recount. Litigation in select counties started additional recounts, and this litigation ultimately reached the United States Supreme Court. The Court's contentious 5–4 decision in Bush v. Gore, announced on December 12, 2000, ended the recounts, effectively awarding Florida's votes to Bush and granting him the victory. Studies have reached conflicting conclusions about who would have won the recount had it been allowed to proceed.

If you want something easy to watch on that topic watch Fahrenheit 9/11. It is highly subjective but gives you a broad picture about why people think the election was rigged.

Re: USA presidential

Voter fraud... besides illegals voting, there are concerns of people voting multiple times and even people using dead people's info to vote.

So many people here in FL talk about that election in 2000 and they talked about it on the local news channels quite a bit. They don't believe it was stolen. Most just believe it was very close (and warranted a recount) and that Democrats were doing whatever they could to try to prevent the other side from winning. They do agree that FL elections (local, state and presidential) are a bit crazy and there's always conflicts about them. Who knows. Supposedly there were some questionable issues in Miami and Orlando this time but I don't know the full story about that.

But how is it today Sunshine? Who had a presidential candidate who openly called Mexicans rapists? Who also said its okay to grab women by the pussies!

In the past the roles had been switched but nowadays the Republicans are the far right not the Democrats. Donald Trump is proof of that. This video is also really subjective and populist. For example blaming Slavery, Segregation and Racism on the Democrats is pretty silly.

Re: USA presidential

I wouldn't really call Trump your typical Republican anyway. I don't think most people who think of themselves as Republicans would think he's a typical one lol. He said he was referring to the illegal Mexican criminals, not all Mexicans. Mexico allows people south of them to go through their country for the purpose of getting to the US illegally. They don't want to deal with criminals. I don't defend the shit he said about women, but if we want to start blaming parties, he was a Democrat when he said that.

Republicans are right-wing. No one disagrees. There are different groups within the party that hold slightly different views (but are still right-wing), such as the more libertarian members and the "Tea Party" people.

The head senator of the Democrat party who died a few years ago was a high ranking member of the KKK. Hillary said he was her mentor. Lovely. He did however admit his faults about being part of KKK and denounce such things.

There are black Republicans/conservatives and black libertarians who call out the Democrats about their history and also say that they still have black people in slavery in big cities (which are mostly ran by Democrats), the slavery of being dependent on the government and making it easy to stay on and hard to get off. Some refer to is as the urban plantation. They've done it to indian reservations big time. They've turned most of them into shitholes and wouldn't help anyone get better jobs or help with the economy in other ways. They fucked us over and over. There is a man from Detroit who would talk about the democrats hurting the black community on local news in Michigan. He was always attacked and called racist names by fellow blacks and democrats.
