seppy (part 2)

OK folks,

Is there maybe a way to get a bit more admin-power on the SIMPLE TANKS A LOT (Aberdeen only) server?
There is a person who just keeps swearing and insulting, commanding anyone, accusing good players from hacking,
disruptive gameplay, tk'ing and destroying friendly vehicles.
Playing the game is a very rare thing for him, but manipulating or disballancing the game etc etc etc.... that seems to be his job.

I am afraid that the server will loose players with interest, beacause i think not everyone understand seppy's 'humor'....

Sometimes theres admins, who can stop him.... but also that is quite rare....
Thank you Nomax, e.S. Jazzy and maybe I forget some admins who care....

But still it might be a good job to give some regular players there the right to warn or kick players like that.

Maybe a player like Cicero_01, Canadean mx5, Maks, anyone!
I would defenitely NOT prefer to be admin... I just like to play and have fun!

but if no other option....  I volunteer.

Laterz folks!

Sepp don't take flags, he just want to stay alive and kill some tanks. If your team or yourself are taking flags and killed him, then he switches...

Yes... this is Sepp. big_smile

...

One way of his thinking: All his mates in their P4 have to share around him as canonfodder for the enemies, while he in his tiger can fight the distracted opponents. ... sfresse.gif  ...

...

And if he is really disappointed after his teammates don't act like he is thinking, then he stays in his Tiger, doesn't move for 20 minutes but insults all the other players.

Re: seppy (part 2)

Arkos that's not true the Panzers are not the cannon fodder MY Tiger is. That's why it's always up front instead of sitting like a fat useless lump on top of a hill and going into reverse the moment it sights the enemy. Or hiding behind a screen of lights like Maxs. You got the wrong guy if you want to critisize my tactics. You are arguing with Heinz Guderian not me. "Little tank follows big tank". That's how it works.

One reason why i don't like to play on "Tanks a lot" is that the frienldy fire for mines is deactivated.

Otherwise i would play there more often.

There's nothing worse then mines on a repairing pod and around its flag, waiting for an enemy tank, but in a close fight, the friendly tank can drive over them, drive on "his" Rep-Pod and ... blob... nuffin. After the enemy tank is destroyed... the same engineer spread his "enemy-searching" mines again and waits on his repair-pod for new canonfodder big_smile

...

Sepp... sorry, but my sarcasm toke control of my keyboard, ... i'm innocent big_smile

I like challenging battles at aberdeen, also playing with you, as long you are happy in your Tiger.

A picture from today on Tanks a lot...

One of them was sitting in a tiger... hmm... not 100% sure. But in one round there was no tiger available for 10 minutes or so.

Some of them need perhaps 3 days for reflecting?

I'm a regular on the Aberdeen Tanks-a-Lot server almost every weekend, it's my favorite map.

I joined mid-game last Saturday or Sunday, axis was up on tickets, teams were pretty well balanced, 3-4 on each side. Sepp was repeatedly asking his team to confirm that they would co-operate with him (translates to follow his instructions) or he would not play. Several chat-spam warnings followed by a kick would have been appropriate.

As a rule, I ignore everything he says so I went about trying to enjoy my time on the server. No other teammates responded, so Sepp went into his usual pout of not spawning and talking trash to his team and anyone else who would listen. That put Allied up by one or two players, Axis lost the map.

So....If Sepp would have put as much energy into his playing as he did his whining and complaining and actually played the whole map, Axis likely would have won that contest. What a great team player. The whining, complaining, berating his team and refusing to spawn goes on pretty well every time he's on the server. If the team doesn't play his way or follow his instructions, he pouts.

The win or loss thing doesn't matter much to me, I'm there to have some fun on my favorite map. Watching Sepp rant and spew garbage is mildly entertaining, so I guess that sort of adds to my enjoyment while I'm on the server. Having said that, I believe his behavior drives people who don't find his antics as funny as some of us do away.

That's my two cents.

Re: seppy (part 2)

So what you are saying D-Day, is that when a round starts and one of the team members asks for cooperation, you prefer to ignore common sense and pretend to be a deaf dumb and blind mute. Then you wonder why I don't spawn. I wonder myself, why I even bother asking for cooperation. Why do I bother reporting enemy tank types and numbers and headings and positions in the team chat? It's not about getting my way, it's about getting a team together. No surprise you are ignorant of these things. As for your two-cents, I wouldn't give you a penny dreadful for them.

I also report tanks, infantry, etc. in chat to my team. The difference is I don't flip out or pout when I don't get what you consider an appropriate response or team movement. You can't get a team together, no-one listens to you because of your tantrums and childish behavior. Not spawning doesn't help your team.

I listen to and will try and help out just about everybody else on my team when I play, but your requests are low priority for me because of your attitude. That won't change unless you do.

Every player that plays here plays as part of a team, you do not get a lot of choice in that as there are always two teams.  What maybe common sense to you may not be for another player who is already entangled in there own battle and cant simply drop everything and come running to your aid, acting like a petulant child about it will not help at all.  Play as part of the team, help others and you will be amazed how much help you will receive in return.

And that's my two penneth worth.

Re: seppy (part 2)

I don't normally comment here though I often come by to check out what's being talked about. The comments above by (BB)DinkW are the prime explanation for why Sepp doesn't get the "co-operation" he demands. I've tried for many years to convince Sepp to play fair and I very often try to work with him on Axis. That seldom gets me anywhere and when I'm killed trying to help him, he verbally attacks me for not helping. No one can convince him that they are actually trying to co-operate. I don't want him permanently banned because my goal is to keep as many players on all Aberdeen servers as possible. I do wish he would just mellow out and play. If a temporay ban is neccessary because he is disruptive then I support that decision.

Also, thanks for the comment earlier "Cicero is good" from nameless. I do my best to keep this game going.

When my ban is up I am officially announcing my intention, to run for position of Admin and I promise just like Donald J. Trump, that I will build a great, great wall to keep the cheats out. And yes, the cheats will pay at that wall. Additionally, I will kick any player who is disrupting the team with cowardice. We don't need babies. We need winners who know how to make a deal and cooperate. I am also once I am Admin, going to have an investigation of the current Admins. We're going to drain the swamp. Get rid of the crooked and corrupt administration. We're going to take back Aberdeen and make the map great again. To any protestors I have this to say "Get 'em the hell outta here". I'm gonna shell the shit out of 'em folks.

Bunny was banned for a week for doing the same as Sepp. I wrote somewhere that it was Sepp using proxy or his twin brother from Netherlands - so  that was Bunny (213.197.37.64). Think twice Nomax.

Yes. Found it:
