just wondering if its ok to copy / steal other well known players exact names ingame

examples :

i could start using names such as

¤)ßmÇ(¤ DrStrange
inVictus|nameless
Hillbillyninja
Maj.MerliN

etc. etc. etc.

i ask because some noob nobody called Zippy, ping ~ 77, has deliberately begun using my nick 000 whenever im online

and i dont mean names that are close to, but not the same, examples : 001, Hillbillinja, inVictus|nameloss
etc. – no, i refer to 1:1 namestealing

no admins do anything about it. im sure reaction would come swiftly, if i started using the above names

or maybe only clanners / admins have the exclusive rights to their names, while the rest of us have to accept namecopying /namestealing ...

Impersonating a admin should not be allowed at all, and if you see a player using your tag then mention it in the chat logs so admins can make the difference between you and him.

Not a new problem for me, whats his tag ?? bfsoldier1-2-3-3-4-5 and 000 001 ect... He might want to change his tag for more uncommune one and stay whit it !!

I understand, but in my opinion it's a bit different because nearly every regular player knows who 000 is. It would be different if he was talking about "BFSoldier"

Not that what i say is worth a dime but he is right. It is not cool to not use your own nickname.

I do not like mr 000 nick when he plays the game and in the end, IF he has OK score, he quickly swaps to 000 else he will rage-quit.

I do not know his deal...

But he is the ONLY 000 in bf1942 (i hope)... this ain't sarcasm. If he wants to be a triple zero he will be the triple zero. Don't impersonate him please people.

On aX we have a player like that he uses our names and team kills with it. Great move... script kiddies.
