All you can do is criticize my work, hell, it's easy to criticize other people's work when you can't do it yourself. Obviously my mod is not going to be like FHSW since I am doing it alone with one or two other people, but that's not the aim of it and I couldn't give two shits what you think about it anyways, the downloads speak for themselves.

I'm enjoying my 275 + downloads on the beta version of my mod. Nice try, but as always, you fail, and you'll end up downloading the mod anyways.

Good idea.  I have made a death match mode with a modified scoreboard (only one instead of two scoreboards since one team doesn't play).

You should make this a client side mod instead of a server side mod. You could do far more things that way. Don't forget you also need to remove the minimap as well as anything that you use to identify team mates. That also includes radio commands.

You also can't make team kill or friendly fire positive, because if you do, a player could simply suicide as much as he wants and he would get a point every time. Therefore the act of team killing should be neutral (0 points).

If you are good enough with the menu files, you could turn Team 2 (or the team that isn't used) into a spectator lodge where players go to spec the players in the match (Team 1, or whatever).

Oh yeah I know they've migrated to a newer engine, I was asking if the BF1942 version is still being developed... I don't really care about those newer standalone games based on 42 mods.

It's an interesting project but it requires a huge amount of resources and time, as well as a coordinated team of video, sound and graphic editors if you even think of making that deadline (end of 2015), which seems far too unrealistic. If you plan on doing everything by yourself you should reconsider and find a few people that are interested in helping you with the editing aspect of the project, because that is the most challenging part.

It's something I've always wanted to do and I like your idea, however you are being far too vague with this. You need to clear cut your ideas in a more concise manner and give more details. You said you wanted people to film their frags on various servers. What format will the movie /short film take? How long will it be? Will it be a frag highlights movie with only public actions? Will it be infantry only, tanks only or all those aspects of the game at once?

Why not incorporate war/mixwar/PCW actions as well? Or clips from tournaments and cups? Personally I think you would gain more in adding war actions on top of public actions. Public actions make it look too easy, and there will be no wow factor if the only clips you have in the movie are easy public hero shots. Everyone can do that. I've done it. You've done it. Doesn't prove much and certainly makes the whole quality of the video pretty low IMO.

The best thing would be to make a frag highlights movie with the best war actions of 2015, and release the video sometime in 2016. Now that would be a video I would like to see, and it's scandalous that the BF-League hasn't been making those kind of movies. I mean in my eyes it would be a huge plus for them and would help them advertise the League. A best of type movie of the best war actions of 2015, in the regular season or off-season playing custom maps would be pretty cool.

Also the editing will have to match the actions shown in the montage. Hopefully if you mix war actions with public actions, you will have someone who is very comfortable with professional video and sound editing software like Sony Vegas do the editing. No Windows Movie Maker and boring ass fonts and transitions! That shit is trash. Make it look professional. As a potential viewer (and maybe even new player to BF1942) I want to look at something that will make me want to try out the game and maybe even join a clan and compete. The advertising potential for this is huge, just think about it.

Finally, the players will be having issues sending their raw AVIs because those are huge if you film for only a couple of minutes (a couple of GB), at least with Fraps on 60 FPS and full size with sound the clip size is ridiculous. So yeah maybe provide a time frame for clips, i.e. no clips longer than one minute, so that the file transfer is easier, especially for players with a slower connection.

But yeah, just my 2 cents, and no disrespect as I've said it is a great idea but you need to provide more details about what you're trying to do.
