Most likely this won't help, i'm just a simple gardener and only know of flowers, soil and shrubbery,
but i'd like to post it anyway.
In many cases i was able to solve a problem by adjusting the inner diameter of the garden hose.

Deeko has a clever way of playing, no arguement on that.
But despite his ping or the distance to target there's no need to lead the aim, nor do the bullets scatter. Impressive.

Hello Pristan,
this is the way i was told to make the game running on Win10 and play it online:

1. installing Bf42 v1.0 from an old disc.
2. game is being patched: battlefield_1942_patch_v1.6.19
3. Punkbuster42
4. battlefield_1942_gamespy_patch_v1.61
5. overwriting the 6 files from bf1942-v1.61-retail-patched
6. finally BF1942_-_master.bf1942.org_-_Patch.2

Step 2 is most likely not necessary as your CD contains already version 1.6.
Step 3 and 4 probably are useless, don't know for sure.
Step 5 is to make the game running on Win10, as far as i know. You can find this patch here:
https://team-simple.org/download/
Pick the "retail" (=CD) version of the patch.
Step 6 is necessary, as Paul Baumer wrote, for your game to find the online servers.

Balance system? You mean the next player to die will automatically switched to the team with less players?
I would prefer to do a chat message, like "teams please", "teams please".
If nobody responds it means you're playing with bots and zombies anyway.
From my point of view no calamity detected on this screenshot.

Played as Axis on Bocage a couple of minutes ago.
The very first move was trying to capture the Sawmill flag.
Arrived there with a teammate and simultaneously 2 allied players.
But no shoot-out was necessary, the B17 made a quick decision.
Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

Most regular players know it by now, but many others simply aren't aware.
Can't hardly blame them - the heat of battle, there's a war to win and all that...

Please forgive me exploiting your post, but i'd love to have a knife tournament again.
As far as i know the last one happened about 9 years ago.

Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find anyone willing to provide a suitable location.

I beg you to keep your comments objectively, refrain from the usual scuffling, exceptionally.
Even if it's hard to resist for some folks around here.

I voted for FF on, to me it's obvious the gameplay will severly suffer otherwise.
Just shoot anything that moves. This game wasn't meant to be played like that.
An example from Kursk: 2 tanks were fighting each other in close quarter, the Panzer IV was about to be knocked out,
yet it survived thanks to the Stuka... The T-34 driver ranted curses, the Axis player breathed a sigh of relief,
and the pilot made an extra-easy kill.
Now imagine the B17...

About 20 years ago i started online gaming with Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, CoD later.
I only picked the FF on servers from the list.
It simply seems repulsive to me if one team wins the fight about a house,
just because it has one player outside tossing grenades into it, while all others rushing in.

Uninstall the game, install it again.
This may help, especially if the problems came suddenly and out of nowhere.

Die Frage nach der Notwendigkeit von Patriotismus ist wohl gar nicht so einfach zu beantworten.
Sicher ist jedenfalls, dass er normal ist und natürlich für hochentwickelte, soziale Wesen wie den Menschen.
Aus dem Zugehörigkeitsgefühl für die Sippe, den Stamm ist im Laufe der Entwicklung, einhergehend mit
dem Seßhaftwerden und der über die Jahrtausende immer größer werdenden Anzahl der Menschen,
der Patriotismus entstanden.
Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass die meisten einfachen, durchschnittlichen Bürger Patrioten sind.
Der Einsiedler im Wald hingegen wird sich wohl nicht viel um Wappen und Landesflaggen scheren.
Und dann sind da noch Gruppen, welche es gleich übertreiben, wie Nationalisten auf der einen und
Anarchisten auf der anderen Seite.
Ich weiß nicht ob es für gesunden Patriotismus ausreicht, den international erfolgreichen Sportverein,
eine Fahrzeugmarke oder sonstiges nationales Kulturgut zu verehren...
