Decision to make baseattack forbidden in TDM mode came from best practices adopted by our admins and by logical intention to make the game more enjoyable via allowing players to spawn without getting killed instantly.
allowing main base attack is not neccesarily a bad thing, it can be very good and improve gameplay
of the 19 cq maps in simple rotation, 10 of those already have “main base attack allowed” in one or two mains (some of them have ships as mains, spread out, or no mains)
battle of britain
battle of the bulge
coral sea
invasion of the philippines
iwo jima
liberation of caen
midway
omaha
tobruk
wake
is gameplay poor and ruined in these 10 maps, because players cant hide safely in mains ? no, it actually makes them more enjoyable imo
and this is not about changing server settings to suit my gaming style, its about improving things for the majority
im rather sure that berlin tdm would get better with uncap attack allowed

The Berlin Team DeathMatch uncapturable base zones need to be debated.
There’s some confusion and ignorance amongst Simple admins and players regarding this area.
Players risk getting kicked and banned in Berlin TDM, even if they aren’t breaking rules, because most admins don’t exactly know where those imaginary boundaries are.
Movements and shots are perceived as allowed by one admin and disallowed/kick/ban reason by another.
... That’s unacceptable ...
Actually, it’s not even certain that the Simple server founder wants main base attacks to be disallowed.
- All 21 Conquest maps in Simple have modded in deathbubbles, and main base attacks are disallowed.
- All Capture The Flag maps in Simple have no deathbubbles, and main base attacks are allowed.
- All TDM maps in Simple have no modded in deathbubbles. Maybe Tuia intended main base attack to be allowed in TDM.

In case main base attack in Berlin TDM indeed is intended to be disallowed, at least three things need to be clarified with accuracy:
1) How close to the enemy main base are players allowed to move?
2) How far into, or near the enemy main base are players allowed to shoot?
3) Is shooting at inactive / newly spawned players inside enemy main base allowed?
Berlin TDM allied and axis main bases (ignore the tanks): 
My take on this Berlin TDM deal:
Moving into, and shooting inside enemy main base should of course, and definitely be allowed, just as in CTF. This is not conquest, it’s Team DeathMatch and maybe intended by the original BF1942 creators to be more hardcore and action-packed than CQ.
When one team has lost both flags in Berlin TDM, the overall fighting slows down, and it’s not unusual to see half of that team hide and be virtually inactive in their main. The enemy team then has to wait too outside, lower the pace, and fight for the few escaping scraps.
The daily map rotation of Simple, this recent year, has consisted of 19 conquest maps, 1 CTF map - El Al, and 1 TDM – Berlin.
There’s plenty of room and space in those 19 CQ maps to hide in main bases and vehicles, for those frightened and scared players, who even after 20 years of playing BF42, still find it uncomfortable and awkward to play infantry and to be shot at.
In case somebody, sadly, insists on disallowing main base attack in Berlin TDM, here’s my view on the lines and rules.
Allied base: Axis should be allowed to get as close as the blue line, and shoot at all visible allied players, even if they are inactive and inside Allied main.
A player has a serious problem if playing Berlin TDM, is in allied main, and complains about being shot from long distance by axis, when it’s so easy to hide from fire in Allied main. And generally .... players should not hide in main in Berlin, they should attack.
(Yellow dots are spawn points)
Axis base: Allies should be allowed to get as close as the blue line, and shoot at all visible Allied players, even if they are inactive and inside Allied main.

ive tested this 12900ks + a high-end geforce with bf1942
around 5000 fps at the bocage opening screen, with some tweaks in win 7, at 5.2 ghz
fps scales almost 1:1 with cpu single thread strength
a 3770k from 2012 at 3.9 ghz, yields around 2300 fps under same conditions

looks like test01 has the video of the full round. why dont you show the first of the three teamkills you made on me in that round, where you bombed me on axis carrier with a plane. felt like it was a deliberate tk by you. i was teamkilled around six times in that round, in total, btw
i would never report somebody for running into my thrown spamnades. its kinda the grenadespammers responsibility if he teamkills in a place like this. you deliberately kept spamming nades like a maniac in a frenzy. thats typical of test01, hes greedy for kills and doesnt care if he teamkills or not, especially against me
axis players had stopped spawning at those two plane spawnpoints, they were spawning other places and they were throwing nades at us, maybe also shooting / sniping at us. the vid shows a nade being thrown by an axis player somewhat in my direction, and i wanted to get away in a plane. i ran at the same time as test01 threw that nade and didnt see him throwing it. i knew he was nadespamming on and off, but hoped that he had stopped or would throw it at the aichi-spawnpoint instead, or that i could make it to the plane before the explosion

test01 teamkilled me three times in that midway. i teamkilled him zero times. and now youre saying its my fault .....
its not my problem that he refused to stop spamming those nades on that carrier. i tried to run over to, and enter, an axis plane twice, but test01 kept spamming nades, and killed me twice that way

BFSoldier 3 / Test01 is frustrated because i get too many gold medals. gold medals that usually belong to test01. test01 is also frustrated because i kill him too much

not all teamswitches are teamstacks, teamswitching is allowed between even teams
i have never deliberately given the enemy team my teams vehicle. i have accidentally lost tanks to enemy team, by exiting as inf, trying to kill enemy engineer, trying to mine / expack my tank, where he then grabbed / stole my tank
oh yes, those turkish players target me 24/7 too ... i should have added them to the above list

000 if you are trying to make it stop you also have to stop targeting players, and by that I mean not only Killer but every player who you targeted aiming to upset them with your gameplay, no matter what you reasons you had for that. You can't bully players in game adopting your gameplay just to piss them off and then call yourself a victim when they go mad at you and respond to your behaviour with bullying you back, in game or on forum. It works 2 ways mate, and this issue can only be solved if every person involved took ownership of his/her own actions and became truly responsible for it. Imagine how good this place could be if that just happened and don't you think that it's worth a try?

proof : i have the simple record for staying quiet ingame : for 1000+ hours from 2019 to 2021, i didnt use the ingame chat .... and what happened ? the ingame chat insults against me were worse than ever ..... and it would be exactly the same with targeting .....
if i stopped that completely, everybody would continue to target me 24/7 ..... this hate against me is so deep that it cannot be cured
furthermore : 80+ % of the targeters dont read this thread, and they will be unaware of its contents. its virtually impossible to make everybody stop targeting. its also the wrong way to go for simple in my opinion. b42 is a wargame. special tactics, defending specific areas and against specific players should be allowed. there will also never be big-scale teamwork in simple. people are just logging in and doing their thing
targeting is unavoidable. being a target is not an excuse to start flaming against the targeter, using ingame chat

its also a natural way to play, and should be allowed
its almost impossible to disallow, since there are so many degrees of this gaming style
veiled, hidden targeting is possible, and its hard to prove

i wasnt disrupting in any way. i did that openly and ive done it for hundreds of hours. that clip was a treat, full of smacktime
- targeting individuals has been allowed for years ... almost everybody does it
- suiciding has been allowed for years ... its very common
- disconnecting / reconnecting has been allowed for years ... its normal to do
- fakenicking / alternate nametags ..... are allowed
- bombing / shooting / knifing / humping / teabagging dead players has been allowed from 2012 to 2022 ... its also quite common
what i did was allowed, as i see it
loosen up ..... simple is not bf-league or a nursery home. as usual, some are applying clanwar /all kinds of bizarre rules to simple
playing here is supposed to be entertaining, and 50% of the simple population in 2022 have so low skill that they kindof misuse vehicles anyway, driving / flying / sailing around, doing almost nothing, getting low kill rates and making too many clumsy accidental teamkills. they seem be allowed to do almost anything
but i guess many conformists are too emotional, want to restrict creative gameplay, and would like to declare new and special rules for high-profile players

k88 has stalked me many times when we were in same team, stalking for the sake of pure disrupting ..... and many other kinds of mischief. this was just another instance it.
here, he flew the exact same route as me. there were no enemies nearby when he tked, and he could have flown anywhere at that moment when i turned; up, down, straight ahead, right .... but he saw that i turned, then turned too, and steered directly into me. it was deliberate
its odd but expectable to see somebody like k88, who admin abused so many times, and who supported the previous vice-head admin, who also admin abused and instilled a toxic atmosphere in SiMPLE for years, now criticizing the new vice-head admins
even after k88 lost his admin rights two months ago, he continues to do what he did for years :
1) bugging
2) chat spamming
3) radio spamming
4) false reporting
5) teamstacking
6) stalking a teammate
and last but not least :
7) insulting via ingame chat
