jokes aside...I can´t get the Simple downloads to work. I downloaded from an other site and it did work...for a while. Not perfectly and not
with all the maps I want to play but still I got the chance to play on Simple FRA and Social rejects for two rounds.
Can someone here please just post the simplified version of the download with no requried BA honours in IT and computer programming?
Just a simple download with all patches and maps.
Download>click>install>run program>PLAY!

I can download all files to my PC but when I want to install them it just says "no file"
So the actual download works but after that nothing.
What do you mean by "exclude the file from Av..?"

Hello
Still can´t open the files one download from Simple forum.
When extracted and ready to install it says "no file". That goes for all the downloads on this forum.
Do you have to be some sort of IT expert with a BA in encryption codes to get Bf42 to work?
Anyone for a round of BF2?

LOL!! I tried to reinstall the whole game and that didn´t work. Not even able to extract the zip files after 1 hour of downloading from SIMPLE... Guess my BF42 days are over.

No downloading, voice or video call services
Very good wireless signal and 2 metres from router
No videostreaming or any other activity than trying to play BF.
Still extreme ping. Best ping so far 1850..

Hi all
Can someone explain for me why the ping is sky high even if I have got a very good connection?
The USA server I can understand but the FRA one is also like 500+.
Howcome (actually what is PING?) and is there any fault (or new recommended settings) on my PC I could adjust?
I´ve got the old proper Win 7 and never had any problem in the past with good ping on the european servers around 30
and the USA around 120.
All tricks and tips appriciated.

Maybe all of you admins should have an online paw wow and come to an agreement what is and what isn´t allowed in the game so there won´t be any ?-marks in the future concerning for example what is active and what is not in a base. Some say this and some say that. One admin just kick, an other ban for 15 min and others for one week. No rules should be a case of interpretation and therefore diffrent decisions from different admins.
Clean and simple.

e.S, calm down a wee bit and listen to the other old timers that´s been around as admins for awhile. It is splendid that we take this game...yes game, serious but fight fire with fire isn´t always the answer. I´m on your side as you volontary take time and effort to serve this game as an admin but as many, admins included, in this tread suggest, maybe a week is a bit harsh. Could easily ,as you understand, be intrepeted as personal vengence and anger in the heat of the moment and not calm judgement from an administrators point of view.

I remember with joy this great sequel of BF 1942. The excellent Battlefield 2.
