Downloads not working

Hello
Still can´t open the files one download from Simple forum.
When extracted and ready to install it says "no file". That goes for all the downloads on this forum.
Do you have to be some sort of IT expert with a BA in encryption codes to get Bf42 to work?
Anyone for a round of BF2?

Exclude the file from Av or IS. It can be blocked only bec. it's not used 100'000 times in Inet.

But from which file you speak?

I can download all files to my PC but when I want to install them it just says "no file"
So the actual download works but after that nothing.

You need to install in bf1942 game dierectory.

Antvirus... For Antirus Programms, files which are not used 10'000 times worldwide or more are suspicious.

But first tell me from where you dl it, then i can tell you if it's safe or not.

Otherwise turn your AV off, but don't start it, but then you upload the Setup.exe to www.virustotal.com and test it online with 43 Online Virusscanners.

jokes aside...I can´t get the Simple downloads to work. I downloaded from an other site and it did work...for a while. Not perfectly and not
with all the maps I want to play but still I got the chance to play on Simple FRA and Social rejects for two rounds.
Can someone here please just post the simplified version of the download with no requried BA honours in IT and computer programming?
Just a simple download with all patches and maps.
Download>click>install>run program>PLAY!

Arkos,thanks for your great effort and as you probably understand by now I´m not well versed in anything else IT-ish than posting questions and answers on this forum...
Teamviewer?? What is that? How does it work? Do I have to install something to use it?....lol..
I will try one more time to just delete all my BF42 folders and try to re install it all from Simple server once more...if that doesn´t work..well maybe I just have to accept my BF42 days are over.
It might even come as a relief for some of you low pingers and clan members.

Sorry as you can see, im argentinean, and maybe i couldnt say in english what i was trying to, and it was going to be larger. Arkos will be mooooooooooooooorrreeeeee helpfull to you, but i was going to make a full battlefield 1942 download with The Road to Rome, Secret Weapons, New Maps, and some other things (maybe mods), already installed, so it gets standarized, and no one gets problems with custom things, but i should get support from someone, and it wil downloaded probably as a torrent.
Apparently you have windows xp, with what compatibility mod r you running it? did you tried to run it as administrator? Check this thread im not experienced (any experience) with this and your problem is very strange :http://www.moongamers.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=64521

Hey panicmodepete,
I face same problem couple of months ago.
In that the file you were download from simple the mod of rtr+sw.
While instalation you face a problem that bf1942 dieroctry not found.
So here is a fix.
If you had a bf1942 setup just reinstall a game.
Or download from where you want.
It helps you.

Thanks Paul....but...I still cant play all maps on the RtR+Sv server...I get the message "map not found". I downloaded everything I´m supposed to download but not all maps are playable. I think the problem might be somewhere between the chair and the keyboard thou.
