its the first time ive seen cheap cam glasses with no lens hole. the cam is in the middle behind toned plastic. will be interesting to see if anybody suspect what the glasses hold

the video quality is utter crap compared to current top smartphones, would be real cool if wearable cam/smartglasses would start to catch on so the quality could improve
itll be nice to finally be able to record in the public without people freaking out. incredible how people get pissed off when you film them without permission, and ridiculous how some people think theyre able to control if anybody are recording them. gadgets like these prove they cant, and cam parts will shrink even more in the future

There were no "attacks" or server crashes. The server had again some hardware problems these last days and the hosting company informed they should be fixed now.
Sorry, my mistake then. I know there's little point in posting about simple server downtime since you'll be aware of it anyway, and it won't speed things up. I'll try to resist posting about it in the future.

I'm quite sure it's not due to modding, the crashes this week are probably caused by hack attacks ... server owner likely already knows for sure and is trying to mitigate ...

i tested bf1942 in win xp and in 7 with a 3770k and geforce 970, frames per second were on average about 40 % higher in xp ....
tested a lot of other games, those released before 2004 generally had higher fps than in w7
that 2019 update trick is meant for xp embedded, researched it a bit and there seemed to be doubt as to how it'd affect xp pro/home ... may/may not screw up things
last update for my xp was april 2014 and i've had no problems since, gonna run it to 2020 or later, i've never even had antivirus running, and mostly run "insecure" firefox 19
most people sadly believe all the bs security scare-campaigns
win 8.1 / 10 is crap imo, those are the truly obsolete os'es from a logical perspective, clearly inspired by smartphones / tablets, and things will go even more downhill for microsoft/windows in the future

I hope I'll be wrong with my prediction, just as I was with aX. I tend to be a bit too pessimistic. Data loss can be terrible and many people have had to learn the hard way, including me.

Simple usa has now been down for 3½ days ... any new info?
Even if it got back up now, it would take months to recover. A shame with all its downtime this recent year.

There seems to be 24+ hours of downtime per month for simple usa. Maybe an extremely cheap alternate server could be a solution when it's down.
