Maybe you're not wrong both but I see Merlin flaming and insulting even when nobody provokes him. That's what happened a week ago when he got banned for this. Nobody was provoking but he was probably losing over losing his df and suddenly exploded.

If you listen to him then you should ban 90% of the server because in his mind, killing him = harassment.

Instead of this, he could just shut up, take screens/video and make a topic in "report abuse" section.

I don't think this war is about jews, even if both parts talk about nazis. Nobody is blind or dumb enough to listen to it. It's nothing about jews.

All it is about, and all it started about, is letting NATO have an outpost in Ukraine. I won't judge if it's legitimate or not.
I won't judge if it's necessary or not. I won't judge if Russia's reaction is legitimate or not.

Personnaly, I don't legitimate any war.

Some people like to sow bad grass seeds. And some don't want them to be sown in their neighborhood.

I'm amazed of this sudden Russian-bashing, and even more amazed of the fact that many people seem to take pleasure at this. In the good old Europe and USA who pretend to be the inheritance of tolerance and open-minds.

But masks fall. Two years of covid-fear made them hungry. They get out of their containment lair and look for someone to hate. They won't look for the truth. They want blood, they want that someone pays. Medias serves to them the forever and well-known "nasty Russians" on a silver plate,. They swallow it. They don't make a pause and think further. They won't try to understand what happens. They just want to bite like brainless dobermanns. Pitiful. And both Ukrainians and Russians are suffering of it.

I don't share his opinions, but Dionysus scores one point of this : Western countries owe their living levels to their interference in third-world countries. That's how we get low-cost stuff all around the world, with low-wages producers in unstable countries.
All of what comes from third-world is cheap because if they had the same wallet for public services as we have, it would be just unaffordable to buy coffee at supermarket.

Now back to Ukraine it doesn't come from 2014 that Russia says to NATO not to come to its borders. Few months ago Ukraine wanted to be part of NATO. Putin just says : "I don't want this to happen. You don't care of it, I care of it".

It's all from what the war comes from.

Problem is : Russia isn't allowed to force Ukraine in international treaties. Ukraine is an independant country.
NATO and Russia have both created this situation by not respecting other's point of view.

And for the historical memory, NATO was first created as a threat toward Russian Soviet Union power. Everybody should understand this.

Ukraine is the scapegoat of a situation that was created decades ago. Both sides have let it go like this.

All countries have their own propaganda, each side of this conflict has its own propaganda. Western countries have their propaganda, as well as Russia, China... Americans and Europeans have been breeded to think that Russia is evil. Breeded to judge them while closing the eyes on what our selfish governments do.

I agree with that. USA can make war for their own interest, nobody used to move an inch by the past. Putin is doing exactly the same in Ukraine. I disapprove both of them.

I won't blame russians for what is happening, I'm far too clever. Nor Ukrainians nor other people.
Only the governments, and especially those who still think in the XXI-th century that problems must be solved with weapons.

I'm french, living in the country of "freedom, equality and fraternity" and I just fear what could juridically happen to myself if I develop more what I think. Because in here "equality" has never been more than a nice dream, and "freedom" starts to be one too.

I'm sad for all the people who suffer in Ukraine and in the world, and for those who will continue suffering from our worldwide hypocrit and selfish governments.
