Hello I have questions about the "baseattack" rule and I would like to get something clarify :
I know that attacking the uncap flags is forbidden.
But is it allowed to fly over (or walk around) just for "checking" (to see if enemy planes have taken off, or if a group of tank is about to attack, or where apc is heading...)
No question of attacking of course, just coming over and pick a look, catch some info.
Some have said it was base attack, and I once got a warn for this, but it's not fair because I shot at nobody, and made no damage.
Is this allowed or not ?

You know, ... once, ... driving through as a joke, (tu tuut) ... ok, ... funny. But twice it's too much.
In Battleaxe you have to fly anyway over the base from time to time and players should anyway report incoming enemy reinforcements.
In Guadal Canal there's no need to go near enemy Base. You see incoming enemies anyway from far.
In Gazala, (my opinion), no one has to go near Enemy Base. The only reason is, if you hunt the running enemy plane down.
(Beside the official rules).

In past there was talk about passing by with foot , car , tank. And it was concluded as bad things to do. About checking with plane, some will find it lame especially if you waiting plane to take off enough and attack them without having full speed.
Anyway, checking or such attacks wouldnt be against rules in my opinion so its up to you.
ok thanks
