how do you modify kill chat to have +3 lines?
You can adjust the following via console or by editing GeneralOptions.con Denny:
chat.setChatMessageSize
chat.setGameInfoMessageSize
chat.setKillMessageSize
Just keep in mind that the maximum lines = 12
You can enter this in console to show your current values:
chat.chatInfo
I've been using this setup for a while:
chat.setChatMessageSize 5
chat.setGameInfoMessageSize 2
chat.setKillMessageSize 5
Here is the old style if you want to try that:
chat.OldChatListStyle 1/0 (If set to 1, the old v1.2 message window model is used)
chat.OldChatListHistory # (No. of rows used if the old message window model is used)
Can't recall how many lines this will offer, but it is a messy display regardless..

As per Seven's deleted comment, please post the logs and you'll notice that in this interaction he provided more insults to me than I sent to him.
He did indeed. And you receive a one day ban for this, yet nothing for test.
And it was Alvarez who initiated this event with his undertone trolling...
I removed the post in another "why bother" realization here. Test is provided protection
by more admins all the time now. There were five admins on Bocage when he chose to
troll me with his "take your pills" and other nonsense, yet no response from any admin.
The lead admin is either oblivious to what occurs here, or simply does not care enough.

He's been kicked & banned on numerous occasions for radio spam as well, yet
has shown no desire to stop.

After install, right-click the BFServerManager.exe & DedicatedServer.exe to set them in
comparability mode. "Windows XP" or "Windows 7" is fine.

To the brilliant minds among us: is there a way for a client to export the playerlist/slot-ID to a file
during a map? A function which could be built? If so, then it should be possible to convert that
data using RegEx, and activate it during game.
With the current platform accepting player-slots rather than nics, I would need to ignore all:
chatoff.txt
chat.addToIgnoreList 0
chat.addToIgnoreList 1
chat.addToIgnoreList 2then unignore chosen players manually at each mapload. ...Pain in the pooper.
Another thought was to use the buddlylist as an input:
game.addPlayerToBuddyListByName "I <3 chatspam"
game.addPlayerToBuddyListByName "teamkillerd00d"
game.addPlayerToBuddyListByName "troll01"yet the player-slot data is still unknown.
Thoughts?

Which map? Which edge of the map were you positioned? A video would have provided that
information, and if you could also press TAB after the death, it would show basic info of the
accused player. A player or admin on the other team may have noted his location to
further support your case.
Sounding like a broken record here, but "everyone please record their game".

I'd recommend that you spend less time in a video game, and more time learning simple arithmetic.
Of your 72 kicks & bans, 21 were from me. Nameless, hydra, jorgen, and Voji account for most others,
and a few other admins did the rest.

There are a few things incorrect with your itemized detail of events, but that's fine.
I'd like to emphasize that the kick had nothing to do with your chat with another player,
and was instead a delayed "kick" response to the derogatory comment. I was a bit
intoxicated and having a good time on Discord, and apologize for the confusion.
Unlike test01, you are not known to me as a common troll, and if you did not include
the "admin" in your comment, I could apologize for the kick.
But I am working on these provocations & reactions with the admins to have a better
outcome for all. It won't be an overnight success story, so everyone just please hang on..

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I have seen Seven warn and kick for spam chat, yet seen the others (friends?) chat about chugging, girls, ball games and other BS so much you can't even communicate with teams, and Seven does nothing, and at times joins in, so you need to be equal in your judication, ...ok now off the soap box :-)
There was no support in the admin forum for the excessive chat topic.
Just a few admins replied and the consensus was to let it be.
In summary - "You'll never stop people from talking".
Radio spam is a different issue, and is addressed.
