Ships, artillery, Def Guns, even nades blindly thrown are almost entirely avoidable for tks by simply knowing who is there or by not firing until you do know. Ask any artillery group member whom served in WWII and the answer is blind is dangerous.
In the end, its only a kick here so the end result of the tks is not very damaging at all. But the change in play can make a difference upon return. Improving the concept of team play. Just my 1 cents worth.

Demonman, perhaps you can try to request unban in a short time and be granted access again. If this does happen pay careful attention to your mini-map when you play. Know where your team mates are and firing blind with artillery is not such a good idea either gaming or in real life. People get pissed. Or Dead. Or both. I hate being dead and pissed.
If you are granted access again and repeat this type of play, I believe all of the players would prefer you remain banned. Forever.
Play hard, play smart, play for fun and play by the rules. Its just great to be playing!

I had the same exact issue last week with a new computer and was directed by a Member here, to Gamespy for two downloads to patch me in. Its works fine now and I wish we had the two patches prominent on our downloads section. PM me for the Member whom helped me and I may be able to get you more help.
