Accidental TK

I was playing in your server last night, the 162.217.248.97. I got kicked once, then banned for TK. This wasnt intentional Im just used to playing on another server without friendly fire. I was using artillery when i did the TK's. Again, I wasnt trying to play disruptively, I just forgot the FF. I would like to come back and try again if thats ok. Thanks. Game nickname is Demoman

This was an operator kick. So i don't see how it could be accidental. Accidental is once,  maybe twice,  not three times.  Maybe you could clarify what the problem was?

I'm saying I was firing artillery without a scout and killed team mates. I wasnt purposely trying to TK. I'm not used to FF being on . I wasnt being malicious. I still would like to play in your server, I'll be more careful. Thanks. Don

Here's how it works on the server. If you TK 3 times on any map the server automatically kicks you, you do not get banned, you can come right back into the game. Now you can TK 3 more times  and the server will automatically kick you, again you do not get banned and you can come right back into the game. Now here's the pay off, If you TK 3 more times the server automatically kicks you and you get permanently banned. So what I'm asking you is, how is it an accident? You were kicked two previous times for TKing, prior to being kicked a third time which is why you were automatically banned. I fail to see how this is an accident.

Check your arithmetic. Three tks = One kick. If you get kicked three times in a 24 hour period you get banned. So maybe it happened over a few different maps. I'll go ahead and remove your ban, please take a moment to look over the server rules when you get a moment.

24 hours aye, I've always wondered how long the server's memory was. 

Out of curiosity Demoman, were you kicked 3 times that you remember?

I honestly don't remember. I just know I was surprised when I seen the banned thing pop up the last time I got kicked. Sometimes when I'm in game I don't always notice the text scrolling by while I'm focused on actual game play. Maybe I was tk'ing more than I realized. Either way, I wasn't trying to cause trouble. And I am only an occasional player.The other server I go to has FF turned off. I guess I'll pay better attention to which server I'm in

One more time Flick.....THANKS for clarifying the 3 kicks in 24 hours (server auto kick) will equal a permanent ban.
Demonman, perhaps you can try to request unban in a short time and be granted access again. If this does happen pay careful attention to your mini-map when you play. Know where your team mates are and firing blind with artillery is not such a good idea either gaming or in real life. People get pissed. Or Dead. Or both. I hate being dead and pissed.
If you are granted access again and repeat this type of play, I believe all of the players would prefer you remain banned. Forever.
  Play hard, play smart, play for fun and play by the rules. Its just great to be playing!

I set my minimap at about 76% visibility in the options menu; so it is enlarged the whole game (covers the larger map)....Don't get freaked out Winston because I said "enlarged"
