As I said before, being ''good'' or ''pro'' in Battlefield 1942, a game riddled with bugs and a non-existent hit registration system, is like winning a medal at your local ping pong competition: nobody really gives a f**k. Your skill isn't skill, it's determined by the reg roulette and you being lucky enough, at a specific moment, to reg more than your opponent.
Also why is conquer in every thread mad at everyone? You guys sound like a bunch of washed out has-beens, pissed off at the rest of us for never making it big.
I'd also be pissed if my line up consisted of:
- 1 ex hacker
- 1 guy that likes to crash servers and associate with known hackers
- Another guy so obsessed with his ego, he probably dreams of grafting his own c**k into his a**hole. Except that he isn't known for actually being good at the game, but for being a prone spammer AND making a mod to prove to the rest of the community he isn't a bugger. All talk about high or low sens. Find ur medium sens that is the best with super slow mousepad. Pad is important with fast pad mouse sens wheels higher even u have same sens than slow pad
I tend to agree, medium mouse sens tends to yield the best results for me.

That's funny cause el alamein and kursk are one the most heavily modded maps. Anyone here know by heart how many tanks are on original kursk? What do you think happens when theres more vehicles than players?

SiMPLE has a few more steps to go to reach moongamers level though, free cam and bots and 1 sec spawns - guaranteed nobody will even try to play seriously anymore

It's weird, you are not in ban list. Are you using origin version? You might have a public key most probably.

No. That wont work. Logically this wont work because; how can the player/DataField42 know what the patch is and how to download it???
In the future this is possible but this requires that the server (that uses the client patch) also should have a program (made by me) on it

ALL maps now have helicopters, and 2 more now have planes. Less tanks on most of the maps too.As a side note, I've had to turn off the TDM/CTF bots maps on the 1942 server for a little bit. Going to try redo the same and more maps completely SSM rather than with a couple that were CSM in the mix due to my modding skill limitations at the time. May be a few months before I get to this though.
Nice maps. Jim2102 made Immersed, he was a good friend and excellent modder. Him and I worked on numerous mod projects together.
As I side note it might be possible to allocate more CPU time to bots to make them come alive and much smarter. There is a command for it but I don’t know if it’s server side or not.

Sure there is an aspect when it comes down to regs. However, when ur cross hair is generally more off target, ur positioning and movement is weaker than the others it's not a factor.
The hit registration is controlled on the server, we all play on the same server.
Fake nicking is essential to prevent being targeted. If you want a proper nick, accept the challenge in the league.
Thanks for the advice, it is a not a bad advice at all. I was not talking about the smoothness of the aim tho. I am talking about the whole picuture, the objects, how smoothly the enemies move etc...
My sensitivity is pretty low. In the Infantry.com it is game.setInfMouseSensitivity 0.027777 at 400 DPI.
Jesus dary, that must be like moving a brick around. Don’t know how you do it.
I find low mouse sens to be excellent for long distance shots as infantry, but in close areas like spawn points you have to move your mouse like hell to kill players.

One of the reasons I declined is that there was no recording required, btw.
I don't understand why I had to record all my gameplay in your tournaments, my team even got some strike, because one player didn't record.

I liked a lot the event, it was pretty well organized and fun to play. Raised fist mod and maps were nice. Hope for more events of this kind in the future.
I've got some ideas that we maybe could use for the next events. Not sure how hard it is to make happen(in modding terms) but I'd suggest to play infantry combat with jetpacks+sniper rifle/mp40/knives while flying around and all over the map. That would fit perfectly a map like essen.
Another thing that would be fun to play is "Kill the admin" event in TDM gamemode, in which admins compete vs the rest of players, maybe with teams slightly imbalanced making rest of players team stronger
Thanks Paul. It would be nice to have more events of this type in the future. I'd like to take a break from organizing them though. Someone can take over, maybe you or KILLER88?

It's so disgusting to see that watermark, cash-cow recording software like bandicam, when you can use way much better alternatives like OBS, ShadowPlay (for Nvidia GeForce GTX/RTX GPUs) and ReLive (for AMD Radeon GPUs)!
