As the years go by, more and more download links to classic Battlefield 1942 mods are going dead. To keep the legacy of this game alive and accessible, I am putting together a comprehensive archive over at bf1942.online—but I need your help to track down the forgotten gems and less known mods.
If you have an old hard drive gathering dust or a stash of files saved from the golden days, I am looking for anything you can dig up:
Total Conversions: The big overhauls and passion projects that might have fallen off the radar.
Custom Maps & Map Packs: Forgotten clan maps, community creations, or event-specific maps.
Mini-Mods & Tweaks: Small gameplay changes, custom models, weapon packs, or vehicle additions.
Server Files & Tools: Any custom server-side mods, administration tools, or old patches.
How you can help:
If you have the actual .zip or .rar files, active links to obscure hosting sites, or even just dead links that can be plugged into the Wayback Machine, please share them!
You can reply directly to this thread, send me a DM, or drop a link to a cloud drive. Even if you think a mod is too obscure or "broken," I'd like to preserve it. Credit will be given on the site to anyone that helps contribute to this effort.
Let's make sure these pieces of BF1942 history aren't lost to time.

The screenshot you posted is from bfstats.io, which is skandia's project. He run's a very similar site to mine.
Is it possible to claim 3 profiles because I use 3 names I play with on the servers?
Yes! There is no limit to the names you claim. They are manually approved to make sure each claim is legitimate.

Here are some new significant features and updates implemented since mid-January:

Comprehensive Gameplay Wiki - Information about maps, weapons, vehicles and more. This guide features detailed detailed data for weapons and maps. Great for new players and veterans alike.

Claim your profile! - You are able to claim your player profile and link your stats together. To get started, simply use the "Login with Discord" button at the top of the page and navigate to your player stats to begin the claiming process.

A lot of new features have been added to the site:
- Ranked Stats: Compete for the top spot! View the Top 100 players by Career XP.
- Updated player profiles (detailed player stats, battlebuddies, past rounds, and more)
- Dynamic Form Signatures (share your stats as an image on forms (see my signature))
- Updated server information and more!

You need to change the master server address to master.bf1942.org. The master.gamespy.com and master.bf1942.sk no longer work.
Only ports 14567 and 23000 are needed for gameplay. The rest are no longer used and could allow potential vulnerabilities to your bf1942 server and host. If you are using BFSM on the standard port, you'll need to open 14667 as well.
Released a few new features today:
EW: /subscribe_server – Subscribe to ALL Map Changes
You can now subscribe to every map change on a specific server. Perfect for keeping an eye on rotations or for community map-alert channels.

By popular demand, /subscribe can now send alerts to a server channel—not just DMs—if you have the correct permissions.

Hi All,
After a lot of work, I'm excited to finally launch a project I've been building for the BF1942 community. My goal was to create a modern, fast hub for everything Battlefield 1942. Here's a quick rundown of what it can do:
Live Server List: You can browse a live list of servers, automatically sorted by who's online. Clicking a server takes you to a detailed page with a full scoreboard (split by team), a player history graph, the server's top 10 players, and a chart of the most played maps.
Player Search & Profiles: There's a full player search so you can look up anyone by name. Every player gets their own profile page showing their overall K/D, total score, playtime, and a full history of their recent matches.
Round History: Want to find a specific match? The Round History page is fully searchable by server name, map, or IP. You can click on any round to see the final scoreboard and who played in it.
Game & Mod Downloads: A Play Now Guide with easy instructions for installing the game on a modern PC, plus a Mod Downloads section with links for DC, GC, IS82, and BF1918.
I hope this becomes a valuable resource for everyone. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Minor update this morning.
- Fixed a bug where servers with formatted names (e.g., italics) would not appear in the search results for the /subscribe command. All servers should now appear correctly when searching.
Is there a GitHub for this?
Unfortunately, there isn't one at the moment. I just pushed v1.1 of the bot, which includes some big improvements to how it works and a brand-new data system.
To anyone who has already configured thier alerts, because of this switch to a new data ingestion system, you'll need to reset any alerts you had configured. I know this is a hassle, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience!
