Keyboard issues.

Hi!

When I press many keys on my keyboard at once, some of them don't work.
For example, if i'm using WSAD to maneuver, and arrown=s, I cant use some F2 F3 etc. commands. Is there a way to unblock all keys so that it wont happen?

Also some arrows +WSAD dont work sometimes and it's really annoying.

It's a know issue of most RubberDomeKeyboards

Most are not able to use more then 4 keys at once. Worse is, that if you press specicfied keys, some other are not working, because of the architecture of the board itself.

The best is a mechanic keyboard, i would say witch blue switches or brownies. Forget all the others.

Here you can read some posts in a row i wrote some time ago.

http://team-simple.org/forum/viewtopic. … 235#p95235

Most of the mechanical keyboards are PS2 connected, but have also a PS2 > USB Converter

The difference is with PS2 all keys are usable at once and with USB Adapter mostly 12-16 at once.

Here the differences between the switches. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/mec … 955-2.html

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FJPGpwyzOA

But as i said, take blue or brown, forget blacks and the others.

The cheaper versions of a brand are mostly not able to customize scripts. The higher price keyboards of the same brand are and those have also 16mio. color LED.

Read some tests about mechanical keyboards. Logitech has also it's own switches on at least one keyboard. Most others mechanical have Cherry Switches.

I think I now understand how nameless pulls off that maneuver to the right where I can't keep up. He has a ps/2 type KB and I go into the ghosting zone of my kb.  Smart move there big_smile

Cherry ML Switches smile

But i think you should search once also for a non mechanical keyboard, but with searching parameters > keyboard nkey rollover anti ghosting.

Russian layout... hmm... I have an All in One Layout for you smile

http://www.daskeyboard.com/images/produ … rousel.jpg

There are custom Key sets available > https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=78563.0

But i guess you should find also some in your area with russian layout.

There are also some cherry mechanical keyboards > http://www.cherry.de/cid/Mechanical_keyboards.htm?

But you have to find out yourself if they are nkro etc.

Re: Keyboard issues.

There are a lot MechKeyboards around with script programming software. But those keyboards have mostly also additional keys on the left side of the KB. I don't use it anyway, but i would also mistype allways. So i have one without those abilities.

Think twice before you buy a Keyboard for such much money...

Re: Keyboard issues.

Btw. I guess you can buy any cherry based mechanical keyboard and change the Caps for your language for around 40-50$.

As you can here > http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/ … p-set.html

The best is you search for it for the board you think about to buy.
