Make recorded video size smaller?

So I use AVIDEMUX to merge a few clips together. Unfortunately, a 4min clip is about 500mb! Is there anyway to like compress it or whatever? Or is there a better program to help me merge the clips and still keep it small while not losing any resolution and stuff?

LL,
As an add on to Sunshine's question. (If Sunshine doesn't mind)

What version of mediacoder is better? The older ones without "nagware" or the latest one?
Will the older versions work ok (in my case) with shadowplay for crunching the files but keep good quality?

Thanks,
Blade

You bet i mind! GTFO OF MY THREAD! tongue

I couldn't figure out mediacoder. It was just making me angry :-/ I went over to alternativeto and found a program called handbrake. It seems to do the job. Made my file down to 154mb.
