what i will say here is i like call of duty and battlefield 1942. why do i like in call of duty that there is zombie modes,weapons,cool story modes.
in battlefield there were a story mode and in battlefield 1 its like real life you know! when we shoot a building from the tank the building collapse so i vote the both of these games!

BF : a game with vehicles, flags and a lot of freedom!

Cod2 was fun.  Did you play the original and UO before that also?
I stayed with CoD through "World At War", then abandoned ship.
Many years of fun gaming & modding back then..

Cod 2 was awesome and i still play it and i have mods. I even did some skins for the troops. I didnt play the first cod but i played UO at a friends house, and the same with WAW. I also bought cod 4, but never played it.

Battlefield is far better than CoD. I used to like both, but Battlefield gives you so many options vehicles,tanks,planes, ships... Plus maps are vast which i enjoy. CoD is different more bloodbath and nothing else... maps are very small for my taste and i dislike it since Ghost were it started to get futuristic. Now with IW its absoloutely awful...

It really depends on how it's setup, who's playing, and how they choose to play.
I experienced many tactical battles over the years.  It wasn't just run 'n gun crap.
One of my favorites was having the Base Assault server.  Ah, the good 'ole days..

Obviously Battlefield is the Best game, of course if you like Big Battles and Team Work, if you want to play in a Break, CoD is better, more fast and close combats.
But in my Personal opinion, I like more Big Battles with Planes, Tanks, Artillery... Feels Awesome. Better with Mods like Forgotten Hope !

does anybody still playing COD2 multiplayer? i want to buy it in Steam, but affraid this game is not so popular now and i will see empty servers...
CoD 2 Extreme Mode was very good and fun, spent a lot of time in it

cod2 is about like the 1942 community in terms of finding servers with peeps in it. Right now there are 200 people on cod2. I hop on from time to time and there are still servers to join but there aren't many and there are lots of bots and modded servers.

Obviously Battlefield is the Best game, of course if you like Big Battles and Team Work, if you want to play in a Break, CoD is better, more fast and close combats.

I haven't played all them BF and COD games, but if I have to choose between BF1942 and the first COD I take COD for the campaign and BF for the multiplayer, COD MP is good as dead.

It does have campaign with some story telling, but basically you're just fighting bots.
