There is one Update which is not shown, (yet), due Windows Update. (It's for Vista to Windows 10)
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/lib … 6-090.aspx
You can wait 2 days, otherwise install it, if you want, manually. (The DL links for your OS are further down).

Ok, i just saw, that the KB3168965 is not listed in the Windows Update Search, but it was installed in background due the normal Installation of the other 6 Updates...
You can ignore this or when you install it, it will say that this one is allready installed.
Windows search showed 6 Updates, but 8 were shown as installed after restart.

Hi again...
If your PC shows since 2 months that there are no Updates or if it doesn't stop searching and slow down your PC, then just install those Updates manually and at the end restart. (Only one restart after the last Update needed).
This will be the last time for Windows 7 and higher, because they changed the UpdateProcedur. All Updates are now in one package, but it does only work if all SecurityUpdates before are done. Sadly on Windows Vista they didn't change the UpdateMethode. It can be, that there is gain a MemoryLeak next month.
...
How to:
1. Download the Updates for your System, x86 or x64
2. > Start > All Programs > Windows Update > Settings > Don't search for WIndows Updates > OK (Save)
3. Ctrl-alt-delete > "Show processes from all users" > Sort by CPU load > look for "svchost.exe" with 25%+/- CPU load and lot of memory usage > mark it > end process. (on 8Core CPU's it can be just 12.5%)
(Or just go into services and stop and restart Windows Update Service. This can take ~1 minute.)
4. Then install all downloaded Updates.
If it says on some updates "This Update is not for your system", cancel it and go on with the next.
5. Don't restart after each Update. Just restart your machine after the latest Update.
6. After restart > Run > All programs > Windows Update > activate Windows update again > save (ok) > it will search and i bet it will find another important security updates. This time for Windows 7 a CompletUpdatePack.

I know this problem since 2 years and i know that most people don't. They recognize that the PC is slower and on DualcorePC it can be horrible. The problem is, if the Windows Update doesn't work right, it won't work right in future too. First you have to fix this.
The newest thing is, ... in the past, when it was searching for Updates, it searched and searched but never found something, or it found it finally but couldn't download it. But the newest thing is, it shows you that there are no new security updates...
You never know, on which machines this problem appears. But if you have this problem, it's really annoying. It slows down everything.
The problem is, even when it's fixed for one month, the next it can appear again, because Windows update Servers are allready patched with the new routine, but UserPC's not.

This is Amazing where and how did you know all this knowledge please...?
Who are you arkos !

There's another Servicing stuck update for Windows 7.
If you have any issues with Windows 7 Update, find's nothing, slow down PC due the search, then you need to install the Service Stuck Update October 2018
Installation, (for a fresh Installation of Windows 7 the same).
> Deactivate Windows Update > (Never search for Updates).
> Restart "Windows Update Service"
> Download the Service Stuck Update "October 2018" and install it.
> Restart the PC and activate Updates
...
For Windows 8.1 fresh Installation you need the July 2016 Servicing Stuck Update. (Same procedure).
