Friendly fire

As a test, friendly fire will be increased to 30% of the damage, currently it's at 0%, only friendly fire splash damage is at 30%.
Do you prefer it disabled? Should there be friendly fire kickback to persuade teamwounders?

Re: Friendly fire

I prefer to be disabled because when it is disabled u can be more focus on the game, also then would be more guys who will be doing teamkills, and also people are used to play like this...

Re: Friendly fire

i think friendly fire should be totally enabled 100%. This is the game, if u are not carefull u will tk. Not having it enabled is totally against the genesis of this game

Agree... it should be on 100 %. There are many reasons why it should be on 100%.

Re: Friendly fire

Ok. I will set it at 100%, for testing, but I think it will be mayhem, lots of teamkills. smile

Re: Friendly fire

I also prefer it on 100%. Just wait for all players to get used to it again. Now, when it was on 0%, many noobs were just shooting other teammates without any consequences. Same with manned vehicles, so u can't even get out for a moment without having ur tank/plane damaged.
Also makes me joyful that I gonna be able to kick those brainless nadespammers big_smile.
If not 100%, I'd agree for every percentage higher than 30.

Re: Friendly fire

Automatic kick for minus score was increased to -9, to account for extra teamkills. Maybe with this change some players will get booted from the server, if they aren't careful. Comes to my mind someone using the B17 in Bocage or the PrinceOW in Iwo Jima.

Re: Friendly fire

in my opinion i disagree with enabling friendly fire. It must be 0%
everyday i got about 3 kicks at least even am playing this game since 6 years!!!!!
anyway some of players just shoot you 1 or 2 bullets to  injure you!!! its not useful tool really

Re: Friendly fire

Hi HoOK,

With friendly fire on, one can't play, as before, shooting every moving target and throwing grenades like crazy. It requires more attention and skill.
If someone is wounding you on purpose, report him to an admin in the server.

Re: Friendly fire

My opinion... change everything back like it was... Lots of tk's..
And was getting worse and worse now the admin commands didn't work..
84 players was ok, I personally prefer 72 players as enough...
Just my opinion;)
Cheers!

Re: Friendly fire

Just tested on one/two maps, so keep it on. But if you cant fix those adminstration issues, then go back to the future (72) wink

Re: Friendly fire

Maybe lower the percentage damage? At least, 3 other players disagree with friendly fire enabled.

Re: Friendly fire

There is a spawn time delay to those who teamkill, not much though.
Soldier friendly fire will be lowered or even disabled, the others vehicle friendly fire and soldier splash damage (grenades and exppacks) will remain at 100% damage.
