Why is that Arkos? This idiot is running around the streets threatening other people and the police get involved. In our country, that is their job, ie to protect the public. Ok... Ice is dangerous thing, and USA is the only country, where the death rate between 40 and 50 years old people is growing.. because of ice. But they learned also in the case of Marihuana, if we look back in the 80's and how it is now.

People affected by pot and those affected by ice are 2 completely different kettles of fish mate. Assaults on emergency service workers here in Australia ie ambulance, police, fire, even doctors in hospitals are increasingly being physically attacked by those under the influence of meth type drugs. The guy had a bit of claret spilt, so what, he deserved it. If you notice in the video, the police officer was slightly incapacitated due to being sprayed with CS. The offender was given a couple of gentle knees to the head by one of the public to help subdue him. This is not a case of police brutality which I feel you are alluding to. Unlike some of our European counterparts, Australians will never take a soft approach to a drug as insidious as ice/methamphetamines. We can agree to disagree, I've no problem with that.

I'd say Bob is right on about that. Besides "meth" heads if you look at them wrong thier teeth fall out. They are super human powered and are on 110% of the time. One of the top scums of society. They get what they get.

Maybe a lot more now that the drug is more mainstream. But it's been around for quite a while. As far as who...I might be reading you wrong...do you mean the numbers of people or the type?
No matter what type of person you are...if you are addicted to meth, you are lost in space and bound to crash if you don't get a life line.. There is no type as it affects every social class.
The numbers are just more reported now than prior to 2008...but there is little doubt that each and every day that goes by.... more are addicted. It's a top 3 worst drug title winner.

People on that stuff is like those who do that PCP shit. They can get violent, hallucinate, and just plain crazy! Not sure if ice is like the type of meth you smoke or snort or like you inject it or whatever. Either way, that shit needs to be eradicated. It ruins communities and is so dangerous. Not just the drug itself, but their labs too. It's been around for as long as I can remember. New labs popup all the time and people get busted with bags of that shit lots. Stupid shit is hurting UP so damn bad and hurting reservation even more so.

Just on the news maybe 2 weeks ago a nurse was severely injured by a guy on drugs (not sure what kind). The guy walked into the ER and then went crazy the guy was on top of the nurse and beat the hell out of her face with something.

But it's nice to see public helping an officer who needs help! So many times you just see idiots with cell phones record when an officer is in serious need of assistance!

Meth heads and PCP /Angel dust and other things that alter sensation of pain, alertness, aggression, can be extremely hard to take down, very dangerous, you can't think like a pussy in such cases, it could get you killed,
I'm not saying shoot anyone or bust their heads open on implulse without warrant
but really man, what do you expect or want?
there's plenty of more reprehensible abuses of police power with violence in North America on recording than this being an example of that

Bob is from Australia....why bring USA into it? And you can't compare stats between USA and Switzerland on drugs, police activity , crime or anything else....Switzerland has almost no cultural diversity or large differences in income levels or social programs as compared to USA. Might as well have a discussion as to which country makes the best chocolate....Belgium hello are you out there?

One cant compare the situation in different countries. I have recently revised my view on the police and what they have to put up with, The violence in sweden has escalated like a burning fire, gangs surrender police here and try to kill them.

What often happens is that they dont want to "land" (come down) because the at is so ugly from that shit. So instead they keep on going, and after a period of days without sleep the brain functions deprave and often the hallucinations follows.

Propably he had enough selfpreservation left to realize he needed a hospitable, or he went there to try and get more drugs, its very common. He might have had hallucinations or got maniac if the doctors refused to give him drugs.
