heavy bomber competition

instead of a "pilot to pilot" competition what about a heavy bomber competition B17 and Ju88A?. still need some good pilots but also a good crew to win. just two planes might be a bit boring? but maybe 2 vs 2 teams cold spice things up a bit.

it dont has to be so serious, maybe the winner team could get a cupcake or something

It would be great fun, having a real flying fortress in the air. Imagin the upcoming battles with concentrated teams.

In ww2 there was one battle of a b17 against 10 zeroes. B17 won.

(Ok same with an SBD against ~12 Zeroes in two waves. The SBD could turn much faster and shot down one by the other, the rest zeroes went out of ammo. The SBD got hitten heavy too, but the armor protected the Pilot. The hole plane was a sieve, but still flying.)

There's a map called "Bomberfighter" made by maehnaebteheu, which is quite literally 2 B17s against eachother.

You should have enough players on each team to crew the B-17 fully, 3v3 on stock B-17, 6v6 on your modded plane. That might also make some interesting dogfights.
