Limited chat is stupid

Simpletons... what can I say? A big part of bf since the beginning was being able to chat, joke,flirt, share stories and problems, even recieve councilling via the chat feature. Many a laugh and tears have happened via out in game chat not to mention marriage and the occasional divorce. Why do you wish to crush this? Without the chat we are mere androids (or o.s. if you're on a mac... but why would you play on a mac?!) or human bots. I would not be surprised if you ban user names and issue us with a serial number instead. 1984 springs to mind and we need a Winston Smith! (although he does end up captured and tortured).

Allow us common people the basic human right to chat without the restrictions of the thought police. The word on the street is that simple has been infiltrated by the illuminarti. Fight them! Restore simple to it's former glory! Donations will flood in as well as love letters, chocolates, sweets and hand sanitizer. Best to keep on top of your germ game with that mouse in your hand (or whatever else has been in your hand thats left those marks on the mouse)

I don't think any admin wishes to stop you talking to your clan buddies but the in game chat is for "in game chat" and should not really be used for you to have a private conversation about your clan disbanding.  If you wish to use a spare channel on the TS to talk to your clan buddy I am sure there would be no problem but it becomes a problem when others are trying to play and you and your friend are having an MSN style back and forth using the chat feature.

Hey all + hi Clive,
as I already mentioned in the pm i have sent to you it's no problem to have a private chat in game. We played a lot together and I know you always have been nice in chat and like to have a smalltalk. But on this day, and I was on when it happenend, you and the other guy have been talking half of the map constantly without any breaks. Just reading what you wrote made it hard for me (and for sure also for other players) to game. You have not been gaming at all, just chatting. Anna told you and you didnt listen. You got kicked and you came back and went on constantly chatting, so even I was glad you were out a bit (15 min ban is a bigger toilet break )- and I'm usually happy to see you on as you are a nice and well-behaving player and its fun playing with you... but as I said, you weren't playing... But we should not exaggerate this thing;it's no big deal and done.
Looking forward to shoot you on the battlefield!

If you try to get counseling through the chat of a WW2 FPS, you need serious help.

Chat is NOT forbidden, but what you do is chatspaming...   more than 15 mins the chat only about
your "TNT clantag" and if "TNT-clan" is dead or not and so on....  .
I know these things important for you  but  15 mins  seems more than enough to me for that -personally- stuff.

Keep in memory i just informed you today , Okay !

At last , imagine all player would chat like that ... would totally ruin the game.

It was because I needed serious help that I sought the councilling of the bf community and let me tell you... it's really helped. There's something about getting emotional support from a soldier in a nicely turned out uniform with polished boots, who looks exactly like every other soldier, in a bunker with the sounds of explosions and death from every direction that soothes the soul. Now i'm going to have to use this forum for help while i dress in a soldiers uniform and my boots aren't shiny. Trouble is, wifi is not great in a damp, dark ww2 shelter that smells like a toilet with a homeless man shouting at you to "get out" (he used other words but i get kicked for using them in game) but hey, i'm not allowed to chat in game.

Hi Anna. I understand what you were saying but TNT dissolving crushed me. I won't talk about such issues at length. By the way, appartently TNT is not dead but i can't ask my clan mate why for fear of getting banned again. Anyone know if TNT is or isn't alive and why someone may or maynot have lied to clive about it.
